Pitch Report: It is a belter. No grass on it. It is rock hard. It is designed so that it doesn't take a lot of turn. Boundaries are even on both sides. It is going to be a fast outfield and a high scoring game.
Sikandar Raza: We were looking to bowl first. There is pace and bounce in this. We had good seamers. We have just started. We have own goals at the WC. By the time we go to the WC, we need to be happy with our performances. Last time against Afghanistan, we lost one and won one and the last one went down to the wire.
Rashid Khan: We will look to bat first. Runs on the board. With the bowling unit we have, we will look to defend later. Lots of things learned. First in the Tri series and then the Asia Cup. The top-order has to take more responsibility. The bowling unit and the batting unit at the death has been doing well.

12:30 Local Time, 10:30 GMT, 16:00 IST: Hello and welcome to the first T20I between Zimbabwe and Afghanistan. Zimbabwe are coming into this on the back of a superb Test win against the same opponents. Though this is a much stronger looking Afghan team and would fancy themselves against the hosts. Afghanistan though had a very ordinary Asia Cup in conditions which suited them. Thus, they wouldn't want to take things lightly. Zimbabwe will look to string together consistent performances and eke out a win here. This is going to be a good battle. Toss and sheets in a while.
