Mennie to Pattinson, out Pattinson Run Out!! 1 run completed. They go for the second run which was never there and even a dive can't save Pattinson who is well short. This was slapped towards deep square leg and the deep mid-wicket fielder Harvey covered a lot of ground before firing a flat accurate throw. Pattinson run out (Mackenzie Harvey/Sam Harper) 3(2)

Usman Khan to Burns, out Caught by Christian!! Wicket to finish for Usman. His third of the night. Slower bouncer and Burns doesn't time the pull at all. Christian at mid-on takes a dolly moving forward. Burns c Christian b Usman Khan 2(4)

W
Usman Khan to Peirson, out Caught by Christian!! Another one bites the dust. Heat not getting the desired final flourish. Peirson the latest casualty, miscues the pull towards deep mid-wicket where the catch is taken with ease. Peirson c Christian b Usman Khan 12(16)

Mennie to Cutting, out Caught by Webster!! Excellent catch by Webster! The catching has been fab from the Renegades tonight. This was a skied pull from Cutting and it was dipping on Webster who dived forward, timing it well to grab a low catch. Key wicket as Cutting was threatening to go berserk. Cutting c Webster b Mennie 20(10) [4s-2 6s-1]

Mennie to Cutting, SIX, monstrous blow into the crowd! A Cutting special! Full ball, in the slot and he absolutely massacres this high over wide long-on. Went almost into the third tier. Tremendous hit!
17.3
4
Mennie to Cutting, FOUR, picks his spot well this time. The slower bouncer plan is getting too predictable and Cutting sits back deep in the crease to forehand-smash this pull behind square on the leg-side. Placed it well wide of fine leg
17.1
Mennie to Cutting, 1 run, just short of deep backward square leg! Wildermuth covered a lot of ground and put in a dive but it just landed short of him. Cutting couldn't connect this slower bouncer well enough, it saved him in the end
16.3
4
Christian to Cutting, FOUR, brute power from Cutting! He can pack a punch with his hits and this is further proof of it. Expects the slower short ball and blasts the pull to the deep square leg fence

W
Boyce to Brendon McCullum, out Caught by Webster!! Another big strike from Boyce! He's got both the Bash Brothers tonight. What an outing for him! This wicket will dent Heat's chances of getting to a competitive total. The well-set McCullum departs in an attempt to up the ante. Went for the slog sweep and connected well too, only to pick out the man at deep mid-wicket perfectly. Brendon McCullum c Webster b Boyce 50(47) [4s-3 6s-1]

F
Boyce to Brendon McCullum, 1 run, too straight in line, flatter as well, tucked to mid-wicket for a run
12.1
4
Christian to Brendon McCullum, FOUR, clean hit! Slower and fuller, McCullum just makes room and chips it comfortably over mid-off who was in the ring. Boundary to start the over
12
W
Wildermuth to Renshaw, out Caught by Usman Khan!! Good comeback in the over from Wildermuth! Goes fuller and once again takes the pace off, Renshaw wanted to smash this down the ground but could only get a thick slice towards short third man. The Renegades are steadily pulling things back. Renshaw c Usman Khan b Wildermuth 8(6) [4s-1]
11.5
Wildermuth to Brendon McCullum, 1 run, wild throw at the bowler's end and no back up which allows the extra run. Hang on, direct hit would have taken out Renshaw! This was bunted towards cover where the fielder was quick to react
11.3
4
Wildermuth to Renshaw, FOUR, crunched away! Slower bouncer but Renshaw probably expected it. Sat back and smashed the pull through the gap at mid-wicket
11
4
Nabi to Brendon McCullum, FOUR, superb innovation from McCullum! Fractionally short and McCullum brings out the reverse slog. Off the top-half of the blade and gets it over backward point
9.4
W
Boyce to Chris Lynn, out Caught by Nabi!! Massive wicket! Considering the form and power Lynn has, the Renegades needed him cheaply and Boyce does just that. Slows this up considerably, inviting the loft and Lynn obliges but doesn't get hold of it at all. Still hit it flat towards long-off where Nabi completed a sharp running catch to his right. Chris Lynn c Nabi b Boyce 14(15) [6s-1]

Christian to Brendon McCullum, SIX, you gotta be kidding me Mr.McCullum! How do you pull off shots like these? That famous premeditated scoop off his and makes full contact, sending it straight back over the keeper and all the way for a six. Wowza!

Mennie to Chris Lynn, SIX, this is a mishit but who cares! When Lynn hits it, the ball mostly clears the ropes. Was a half-volley and he just picked it up with a bludgeoning hit over long-on. Went miles up in the air and had the wings to go for a six. Wow!

Usman Khan to Bryant, out Caught by Nabi!! Excellent catch! This was hit really hard from Bryant but Nabi was cool as ice at mid-off, reacting extremely sharply to grab this low catch. The Renegades finally have their first wicket and as it's been quite a few times this season, it's Usman who provides this. However, this is clearly the fielder's wicket. Bryant made room and flat-batted this really well but didn't get the placement as well as he would have liked. Bryant c Nabi b Usman Khan 18(16) [4s-2 6s-1]

Usman Khan to Bryant, byes, FOUR, going...going...gone! Sam Harper leapt with all his might but this just took off after passing the batsman and flew comfortably over the keeper. Another of those shortish length balls that have kicked up on this pitch
4.1
Usman Khan to Brendon McCullum, no run, direct hit and McCullum was a goner! Luckily, the throw misses because Baz had given up. Pulled this towards backward square leg and set off for the single, was sent back really late and gets lucky in the end

4
Wildermuth to Bryant, FOUR, kaboom! This is off the middle alright! Once again Bryant resorts to making room and gets the length he was looking for. Launches it straight down the ground, easily over mid-on. 15 off the over!

4
Wildermuth to Bryant, FOUR, streaky runs! Both batsmen have decided to throw caution to the winds and the pace of this wicket is producing mishits. Bryant made room for the pull but was clearly late on it. Skewed it straight back over the keeper's head to the third man fence
3.1
4
Wildermuth to Brendon McCullum, FOUR, Baz's turn to join the fun. Short and wide, he slashes hard and although it flew off the slice, he got it fine to the third man fence

6
Usman Khan to Bryant, SIX, as easy as you like! What a hit! Usman overpitches and pays the price for it. Bryant just leans into the loft and holds the poise as he lifts this comfortably over the wide long-on fence. Such a clean strike
2.1
Usman Khan to Brendon McCullum, 1 run, almost a blinder from Wildermuth! Reacted sharply and dived midair to his left, stretching out his left hand but it just didn't stick. Terrific stuff nevertheless. Was a crunchy pull from McCullum after backing away and using his feet. Hit it really hard and would have been livid if that was taken
