PLAYER OF THE MATCH
21:07 Local Time, 19:07 GMT, 00:37 IST: Dewald Brevis was the costliest buy in this season's auctions and he delivered when it mattered the most. His half-century in the final league match took them from the brink of 7 for 5 to a QF1 place and he's now clobbered a 38-ball 75* to take them directly into the finals. But tonight's game was all about Bryce Parsons - asked to bowl with the Sunrisers coasting along, he dragged the Capitals back with three superb overs in the death - it not only cost him only 10 runs, he also chipped in with a wicket each in  each of his overs. What looked like a 200+ target was brought down to 170, despite James Coles's 4-ball 17 in the final over. He then kicked on with the bat and contributed a steady 44-ball 60 - a partnership with Connor Esterhuizen gave them a platform and then the partnership with Brevis took them on the cusp of victory. Momentum is a keyword in T20s and the Capitals have gained exactly that in the second half of the tournament. They'll now wait on their opponents ahead of Sunday's finals - will it be the Sunrisers once again? They might've let slip the chance of direct qualification, but not everything is lost for the 2-time champions. They've never missed the final since the start of SA20 and they'll get another chance as they play either the Royals from Paarl or the Super Kings of Joburg in QF 2 at the Bull-ring on Friday.

Nortje to Bryce Parsons, out Bowled!! A twist in the tale? Bryce Parsons shuffles too far across and loses his leg-stump in the process - Nortje kept with his wit, kept it full and straight, Parsons moves right across and then hears the sound of timber - walks off to a big round of applause from the team dug-out. He'd have loved to finish it off, but has he opened up a small window for the Sunrisers? Bryce Parsons b Nortje 60(44) [4s-4 6s-2]

Marco Jansen to Brevis, SIX, massive, back-to-back half-centuries for Brevis, he's hit form just at the right time for the Pretoria Capitals - banged in short by Jansen and he took on the pull, doesn't bother to keep it on the ground, sends it sailing deep into the crowd at fine leg
