Hello and welcome to the Live Blog for Day 5 of the second Test between England and New Zealand at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Hit refresh for the latest updates.

England clinch series

After the stunning knock from Bairstow, Stokes and Foakes complete the formalities as England take a 2-0 lead with one match to go. The target is chased down in 50 overs, with Stokes unbeaten on 75 off 70.

Under 300 would be quite chaseable: Foakes

"Realistically how fast it's been scoring, under 300 you'd say would be quite doable if you bat really well. Some of the guys we've got in the dressing room, guys like Stokesy, it could be anything really. You have no idea really if he gets in. So much has happened this afternoon that now all three results are in play. It should be one hell of a day," said Ben Foakes.

Michael Bracewell, who struck a 17-ball 25, said New Zealand will be playing for a win. "The draw sort of comes out of it at the end if the win is not possible, rather than the other way round. We're willing to win a Test series against England. You want to secure as many WTC points as possible. We ultimately want to win games of cricket and if that comes tomorrow where we have to bowl a little bit more negatively towards the end of the day, we'll play that way. But yeah, we're always aiming to win games of cricket."

Here's what both of them had to say.

Recap:

Trent Boult bagged a five wicket haul to end England's innings early on Day 4, and the hosts then hit back with regular wickets to leave the Trent Bridge Test interestingly poised. England were bowled out for 539, conceding a 17-run lead. Will Young and Devon Conway struck half-centuries in the second innings but New Zealand also lost wickets and went into Stumps at 224/7, leading by 238. Full report here.
