Alastair Cook's magnificent innings of 162 came to an end after Trent Boult had him caught behind, only in the 7th over of the day. Cook looked to defend off the front foot, but the ball sneaked in, brushed the inside edge and traveled into the keeper's gloves. The original decision was not-out but McCullum opted for the review. HotSpot showed that there was a faint mark on Cook's bat as the ball went past it.
The captain got a standing ovation as he walked back.
England lead by over 300 runs now.
Stuart Broad's poor form with the bat continued as he was cleaned up by Boult after he hit him for a big maximum. Expecting a short delivery, Broad backed away to slog but it was a full delivery by the bowler that went on to clatter into the stumps.
Mark Wood has now joined Moeen at the crease, who by the way, has hit some gorgeous cover drives.
