Salman Agha asks Sufiyan Muqeem to collect the trophy. They join their team-mates now. All smiles in the Pakistan camp as they pose for the photographs along with the CHAMPIONS hoarding. Pakistan batted first in all the three matches. They defended 178 in the 1st T20I despite not picking a single wicket in the first 10 overs, thanks to the spin-choke. They were well below-par with the bat in the 2nd match and the spinners were brilliant once again but they lost the last-ball thriller. The decider today was a closely fought contest and the Pakistani bowlers closed it out nicely in the end to seal the series 2-1. On that note, it's curtains down on this 3-match T20I series which was hosted by Lauderhill. The action now shifts to Trinidad for the three ODIs commencing on Friday (August 8th). Until then, it's goodbye from all of us.

Salman Agha | Pakistan captain: I am always smiling. Complete team performance, throughout the series we were very good. We just want to keep improving and keep moving forward. For me, it doesn't matter win or lose, yeah winning is very important but as long as keep improving and keep doing the right things, that's what matters. If we do that more often we'll win most of the games. It was a different pitch, it was slightly better. The way our spinners bowled in the middle, Sufiyan Muqeem was outstanding throughout the series and he brought us back into the game today. The way Haris bowled his last two overs and even in the powerplay, Faheem and Hasan Ali showed his character bowling the last over, it's amazing for a captain to see that. (On having mystery spinners) It's always a massive asset because they are the ones who can win you the game from nowhere. We want to have these kind of people. Having Sufiyan and Abrar, they are very big assets or us. We just want to keep improving and keep following our process. We have enough talent in our team to win most of the games.

Shai Hope | WI captain: Firstly, I must commend the bowlers for their effort that they put in for the entire series. It was a little more conducive for strokeplay today. Still felt 190 would have been enough for us to chase. We speak about execution with the ball a lot, we've seen progression, we just need to be a little more consistent. Same thing with the batting, we need to deal with those middle over better and our usual power-hitting at the back end, just try to have that complete cricket game, three areas, something that we need to look at. We spoke about intent (with the bat) yesterday. Alick came out and showed his class, same with Jewel in his first series. They showed they're very capable playing at this level. Consistency is key if you want to be the best team in the world, something which we haven't done. Always tough (captaincy), the games come quick and fast, there's not much time to talk and discuss things. You got to find ways to get better.

Mohammad Nawaz | Player of the Series: When you get these kind of conditions, the plan gets basic and I was just trying to bowl in the good areas. Natural variation, I was getting from the pitch. Today, the pitch was a little better than the first two matches. Due to the situation of the game, I couldn't finish my quota of overs. I have bowled with the new ball, I have an idea how to bowl in the powerplay. Caribbean players are strong guys, I have to be 100% with my line and length. I was keeping my plans simple and sticking to the basics. In these days, if you bowl in one length and one pace, the batsmen can line you up easily. The ideas is always to stay ahead of the batsmen. My favourite all-rounder is Yuvraj Singh, I used to watch him a lot and Shahid (Afridi) bhai. As a spinning all-rounder, I follow them a lot.

Sahibzada Farhan | Player of the Match: Whenever I make runs, my team wins and I am very happy with that. The conditions weren't different but Saim Ayub and I wanted to take the game on and keep scoring whenever there was an opportunity. I enjoy batting with Saim, we help each other, we are looking forward to forge many more century partnerships. Happy to have won two out of the last three series. We are focusing on the tri-nation series which is next month and Asia Cup.

23:38 Local Time, 03:38 GMT, 09:08 IST: West Indies will wonder how they lost that game! They got a good start with Alick Athanaze taking on the bowlers in the powerplay. There were two batters who scored 50+ and at a good rate as well but they still fell 13 runs short. Athanaze and Andrew gave a flying start as West Indies raced to 59/1 in the first six overs. But the middle phase was a problem once again as the spinners especially Sufiyan Muqeem put the squeeze. The left-arm leggie finished with impressive figures of 4-0-20-1 and that was the difference. Rutherford batted till the final over, got to his fifty off 32 balls but failed to take West Indies over the line. This was a good opportunity for the Caribbean side to win a T20I series against Pakistan, which they have never done, but their batters have floundered the chase. Presentations coming up..
