Australia have lost 18 wickets in this series and 16 have been against spin (and two run-outs). This isn't their full-strength side but these performances don't do any good for their confidence before the big tournament. Pakistan, meanwhile, have won the series with two convincing wins. Agha is eyeing a whitewash. Tune in tomorrow for the third and the final T20I of this series. Until then, goodbye.
Salman Agha | Player of the Match: It has to be a perfect game for us. We batted well in the powerplay, we finished well in the middle. We were outstanding. And when it comes to bowling, we bowled well in the powerplay, middle and we finished the game early as well. And then fielding was outstanding. So, I can easily say, the perfect game for us. And we want to replicate that tomorrow as well. (On his batting) That's why I promoted myself at number three. We know we're going to face a lot of spin here and obviously in Sri Lanka. And I know I can dominate. I have a game I can dominate the powerplay. That's what I was trying to do. And it was outrageous, everything came from the middle as well. (On Usman Khan) We know he's a very good player of spin bowling. He's probably the best player in our team right now against spin. And we knew his ability. And I knew that this kind of an inning will come sooner or later. And I'm very happy for him. Hope he can continue like that in coming days as well. (Anything to fine-tune?) I want to continue the way we are playing right now. I want to do that tomorrow as well. This is something I want from my team. We come tomorrow, forget this 2-0 now. We want to do 3-0. (On the crowd) They've always been outstanding. They come in numbers. When you play in Lahore, they're always like full house. And I'm very thankful for that. Hopefully they come tomorrow as well and we can entertain them more.
Mitchell Marsh: Pakistan outplayed us in the first two games. So, hopefully we can turn it around tomorrow. This series was still alive before today. As I've said, Pakistan certainly outplayed us. As when you lose, there's always great lessons that you can take out of it. And hopefully we can implement them tomorrow and moving forward. They put us under great pressure in the powerplay. It was probably a 160-170 wicket. So again, fair play to the way they played. We've got experienced guys who know that partnerships are really important in run-chases like that. We weren't able to do that today. So, as I said, some really good lessons.
19:00 Local Time, 14:00 GMT, 19:30 IST: In the previous match, Pakistan registered their first T20I win against Australia after seven years. Today, they record their first T20I series win against the Aussies since 2018. Opting to bat, the hosts posted an above-par total. Salman Agha batted aggressively and scored a 40-ball 76. Usman Khan notched up a fifty and Shadab Khan played a little cameo to take Pakistan's total close to 200. In reply, Mitchell Marsh got going with a couple of sixes. Abrar Ahmed trapped him lbw with a googly and that started the procession. Pakistan choked their opponents with spin and the Australian batters had no answers. Barring the 6th over where Green went after Ayub, Australia never really looked threatening with the bat. Agha employed five spinners and all the tweakers were amongst the wickets. While there was a lot of assistance for the spinners, it's also fair to say that there was a lack of application from the Aussie batters. Stay tuned for the post-match interviews.

Kuhnemann comes down the track premeditatively and is nowhere close to the pitch of the ball. It's the away-turner outside off, the left-handed flicks awkwardly and gets a thick outside edge. Abrar Ahmed to Matthew Short, out Caught by Babar Azam!! Nine down! It's the away-turner again from Abrar, however, he bowls it wider on this occasion. Short swings hard and ends up slicing the loft up in the air. Babar runs in from long-off to reverse-cup it. Trademark 'buzz off' celebration from Abrar.
