Romario Shepherd, PotM - I just wanted to get the momentum with the bat, we lost a few wickets and they had the momentum. I worked on holding my shapen (on the thing done during during the off-season), that's something I've paid keen attention to. Also a positive batting attitude. I was just looking to hit the yorkers, Pollard said to me my over was left and I knew I had to bowl, so was ready with my plans.
Kieron Pollard, MI Emirates Captain - Very happy to be speaking as a winning captain. We showed that it's possible if you fight till the end. Loss of wickets together, we lost Pooran and Waseem together, they bowled well, but we got a good flourish at the end. With the ball, we held our nerves at the backend, thought the 16th over was the turning point. Horses for courses regarding the selections, the guys understand it well. But it's good to have competition for places. 
Tim Southee - Sharjah Warriorz Captain - That's T20 cricket, the partnership between Raza and TKC was excellent, but we fell short in the end. We bowled well, but could have done a bit better, especially in the death overs. As a bowling side, you need to take wickets, they had them towards the end and that helped them get a few good blows (with the bat). We'll have to check and see (on Dinesh Kartik's injury)
17:50 Local Time, 13:50 GMT, 19:20 IST: Sharjah will wonder how they've lost this match. They were coasting along and needed 35 runs from the last 5 overs, but AM Ghazanfar's 16th over double wicket maiden turned it all around. He got rid of the dangerous pir of Sikandar Raza and Dwaine Pretorius and got his team back into the contest. TKC then stalled a bit and Dinesh Karthik couldn't get going - it all boiled down to 11 needed off the last over, still a doable task, but Romario Shepherd nailed yorkers at will to defend the runs. First win of #ILT20 2026 for the Emirates while the Warriorz slip to back-to-back losses.
