Sam Curran | Player of the Match: Yeah got a little bit nervous there when Smithy got out, I was thinking geez I got to take the boys home. Really special, obviously leaving in the morning, which is a little bit bittersweet, joining England tomorrow morning in Sri Lanka. So really excited for that. But I'll be watching the guys when I'm there, but I've loved my time in the Sixers. What an incredible franchise and my first time in the Big Bash, so hopefully will be back. (experience with the Sixers?) Yeah, I think before I came into the auction, I spoke to my brother who'd spent four years at the Sixers, and he said it's one of the best kind of overseas franchise tournaments he's been to. And he is with the Stars now, doing really well. So I think it helped that I knew guys like Motty, was my England coach, Sean Abbott, Moises played at Surrey. So yeah, just really pleased. It's nice when you, I did feel a bit kind of different coming in halfway through the tournament. It's not what I like doing, but I guess with the schedule and things like that, that's how it panned out. So hopefully the next time it happens, I can play the full season. (guys like Starc and Smith being there lifted the team?) Yeah, I think so. Obviously guys like Mitchell Starc and Steve Smith, obviously two world-class players. And that was really cool actually to bat with someone like Steve Smith there. The calmness and skill he has got is amazing, obviously played against him loads. And Mitch is obviously a world-class bowler. So I think they fly to Perth tomorrow, then play the Scorchers on Tuesday night. So a quick turnaround and hopefully they get straight to the final, and give them a few days rest. (on the series vs Sri Lanka?) I am, yeah. It's obviously three ODIs, three T20s coming up next week, which will be again a good time for us to be together. And obviously World Cup for England, nothing bigger and nothing better. So hopefully it's a good tournament for myself and the team.
