The 2025 season of the CPL rolls on and we've a big game tomorrow. It's 1 v 2 in QF 1 as the home team takes on the defending champions. One team will go directly to the final after tomorrow's game, the other team will have to scrap it out with the Knight Riders on Friday. Do join us for all the action. For now, cheers and bye..

Nic Pooran | TKR Captain - Eliminator is eliminator, different energy and atmosphere, we have been in this position before, we know what it takes, emotions come out, but we'll do whatever is needed to win the game. It doesn't really matter, we just needed the win, I would have taken a first-ball dismissal if we won. We'll take this win and go further ahead - we always take pride in representing the country, we haven't won a title since a few years, we're searching for consistency, if you go searching for perfection, it'll go wrong. We just need to focus on ourselves, on our game and how to improve as a team, we know whoever we face next will be a very good team.

Imad Wasim | ABF Captain - I think the wicket was good, I think we were 20 runs short, with wickets in hand, we should have gone faster. But we had a good tournament, NickyP played incredibly well, we did think we had a chance if we got him early, but he and Hales batted really well. We did play well, we had a good season, we gelled well as a team and we should be proud of our efforts. We had quite a few good performers this season, thankful for the supporters who cheered us, we'll be back stronger next year.

Nicholas Pooran | Player of the Match - It is always good to come out on top. Today, it didn’t matter how we get this win, we knew it wasn’t going to be easy. Antigua started well but our bowlers came back well at the end. In big games, players try to be in the moment as much as possible and when some decisions don't go your way, you can feel emotional. It was tough to keep emotions in, obviously I apologised (on his two debatable lbw calls which were later overturned) to the umpires, it was in the heat of the moment. I have worked hard throughout the tournament, today I got an opportunity to bat at No. 3. We have been speaking about taking responsibility and I’m happy that I was able to win it for my team. (On Hales) He’s class, he batted really well. We didn’t bat well together as a team in the last three games but today we were really good.

23:25 Local Time, 03:25 GMT, 08:55 IST: The Falcons will look back at their batting effort and will feel they were at least 20 short of a competitive total tonight. The second wicket partnership yielded 108 runs, but it took its time and it left the big-hitters with too much to do. They panicked and the collapse left them with only 166 on the board, despite Shakib's 9-ball 26*. Colin Munro's cameo set things off for the Knight Riders in the chase, but it was Nic Pooran's angry 53-ball 90* which was the innings of the night. He survived two LBW calls with successful reviews and put every bowler under pressure with timely boundaries. With Alex Hales dropping anchor, there was no escape route for the Falcons - the pair added an unbroken 86-ball 143-run stand to send their team into the second qualifiers.

17.3

Jayden Seales to Pooran, SIX, TKR are into QF 2, Falcons have been eliminated! A 200th CPL six for Pooran as he seals things off tonight at the Providence, was the attempted slower short ball, but it came up harmlessly and Pooran ruthlessly dispatches the pull over deep mid-wicket for another maximum

17.2

Jayden Seales to Pooran, no run, short of a length and angling across the left-hander - Pooran slashes and misses

17.1

Jayden Seales to Hales, 1 run, very full and at the stumps, driven down to long-on for a single

17.1

Jayden Seales to Hales, wide, a wild delivery from Seales, full-toss down leg and has been called as a wide

16.6

Imad Wasim to Hales, 1 run, pushed through by Imad, Hales comes down the pitch and gets an under-edge on the drive to long-on

16.5

Imad Wasim to Pooran, 1 run, flighted delivery outside off, driven hard and down to long-off for a single

16.4

Imad Wasim to Hales, 1 run, tossed up on middle and leg, worked down to long-on for a single

16.3

Imad Wasim to Pooran, 1 run, flighted delivery outside off, driven down to long-off for a single

16.2

Imad Wasim to Pooran, no run, very full from Imad - Pooran was shaping for the slog-sweep and drags an inside edge past square leg, decides against a single

16.1

Imad Wasim to Pooran, SIX, Pooran is finishing off strongly, this is good news for TKR ahead of the next game - tossed up just outside off, he gets under it and then smotes it high over long-off for a maximum

Imad Wasim [2.0-0-14-0] is back into the attack

15.6

Jayden Seales to Hales, FOUR, lovely, too full from Seales - Hales makes room and then places the drive wide of mid-off - the outfield is fast and the chasing fielder has no chance, 3rd CPL fifty for Hales

Jayden Seales to Pooran, 1 run, fuller length delivery on off, pushed square on the off-side for a single

15.4

Jayden Seales to Pooran, no run, a pacy short ball, pushed across the left-hander and Pooran lets it go

15.3

Jayden Seales to Hales, 1 run, slower short ball from Seales - muscled away to deep square leg, on the bounce to the fielder
