It's the Independence day weekend here in Tarouba and the home team have given their fans plenty to cherish. They'll be back on Monday for the Independence day clash against the Patriots from St. Kitts and Nevis. Before that, we've got a game between the Kings and the Falcons lined up for tomorrow in St. Lucia. Do join us for all the action. For now, cheers and bye..
Nic Pooran | Trinbago Knight Riders Captain - The first three games have been amazing for us, we've played some good cricket, happy that the fans who have come out and supported us have seen some good cricket. It's something about this venue that's special, 21 wins out of 25 games, long let it be. We had a chance to win a couple of overs back, but we lost some wickets. The bowlers did well and then Munro and Hales did their bit with the opening partnership. Independence day is on Monday, we're looking forward to that day and also hoping to continue our winning run.
Imran Tahir | Guyana Amazon Warriors Captain - I think we gave them a good fight, pleased with that. We didn't do a few things right, the conditions weren't in our control (speaking about dew), but I thought we were soft in the bowling PP, but we still fought hard. We tried to do different things, we knew Akeal was going to bowl in the PP, so sent Motie, it didn't work, but you need to take such gambles. Last year, we won 3 away games and then played well at home, we're honoured to get opportunities and looking to give a good fight to the Barbados Royals (in the next match).
Akeal Hosein | Player of the Match - I think it was just sticking to the process, it's frustrating when you don't take wickets despite bowling well - but I just stuck to the process today. The first celebration was on a funny incident that happened in our camp and I just kept up to it (on his wickets celebration). The support means everything, to turn up and see a sea of red, chanting and supporting us, there is no better 12th man for the Knight Riders. Everyone is grabbing their opportunities and performing well, so that's a good sign for the team going ahead.
22:56 Local Time, 02:56 GMT, 08:26 IST: Fourth win on the trot against the Warriors at home for the Knight Riders, their 3rd straight win at home this season and they continue their surge at the top of the leader-board. A comprehensive victory for the Knight Riders, one that was never in doubt after the first 10 overs blitzkrieg from the two openers - Alex Hales and Colin Munro feasted on the GAW attack and tore them to shreds, 77 came off the batting PP and a further 38 in the next four. At the half-way stage, they had raced away to 115 for 0 and were looking at a thumping victory. Tahir though gave hope to his team with a 3-wicket 11th over - Munro falling after his fifty while Pooran and Carty both bagged ducks. There was still time for the wily leg-spinner to add one more to his kitty as he got rid of Alex Hales in his final over, but Pollard and Russell used their vast experience to steer their team home.
Hassan Khan to Russell, SIX, a thumping six to win it for TKR - dropped short by Hassan and Russell swivels onto the back-foot as he deposited the pull into the crowd at deep mid-wicket
Hassan Khan to Pollard, 1 run, flatter and just outside off - Pollard rocks back on the pull and mistimes it to long-on for a run
With 2 runs needed, looks like they're changing the ball
Pretorius to Pollard, 1 run, slower ball wide of off, would've been called if not for Pollard chasing and under-edging the drive to long-off
Pretorius to Pollard, no run, a loud shout for LBW, Pretorius had stopped appealing when the umpire's finger finally went up. A flabbergasted Pollard looks on and he then reviews. Is it going down leg with the angle? Was very full and the right-hander was pinned on the pad as he shuffled and missed - think this is sliding down, but umpire's call will do for Pretorius. No bat and UltraEdge confirms the same - onto ball-tracking: It's indeed sliding down leg and it's a successful review, the original call has been reversed

Pretorius to Russell, 1 run, on a good length and well wide of off, bludgeoned off the back-foot to deep cover for a single
Pretorius to Russell, wide, another slower short ball, but this is well past the tramlines and is wided
Pretorius to Russell, FOUR, short, wide and four, loads on width on offer, was a slower short ball, but Russell powerfully smacks it square past point for another boundary, they're one hit away now
Pretorius to Russell, SIX, Russell wants to get this one done in a hurry - on a length and into the pitch, he gets his left leg out of the way and flays it over long-off, hit hard and hit flat for a maximum
Pretorius to Russell, no run, the slower short ball, Pretorius sprayed it well outside off and past the tramlines, but Russell was reaching out and missed
Dwaine Pretorius [2.0-0-15-0] is back into the attack
Hassan Khan to Russell, 1 run, flighted delivery on the leg-stump line, nudged behind square on the on-side for a single
Hassan Khan to Russell, SIX, massive, Russell has had enough of blocking and defending - hint of flight from Hassan, he clears his left leg and smotes it high into the night sky, onto the roof at deep mid-wicket for a 102m hit
Hassan Khan to Pollard, 1 run, tossed up on the leg-stump line, nudged wide of mid-wicket for a single
