Another game of the Hundred has come to an end. This is the first loss for the Rockets and that too in their third game. They were off the blocks quicker but will resize their plans a bit and come back stronger. Two each - wins and losses - from four games for the London side. We had a time covering this. We will be back soon with more cricketing action.
Jamie Smith, Match Hero: Very happy to win. We took a lot of pace. We kept taking wickets. Was not easy to get going. Nice to get some runs under the belt. Specially for a new team.
21:19 Local Time, 20:19 GMT, 01:49 IST: The Rockets just never had a good plan for this chase. Lost quite a few in middle and towards the end. Stoinis mananged to hit some lusty blows and reduce the margin. The bowling unit from Spirit was terrific. Everyone bowled well. Banton and Root earlier added quite a few runs but both fell in quick succesion for their team to be in trouble. Post that the chase nosedived and they could never recover. In the first innings, Jamie Smith set the tone with a fifty at the top and the London spirit scored an above-par score. Two vital points nabbed by the Spirit side.
