The Superchargers have started on a winning note and they looked confident with the run chase. The 100 rolls on and we'll be in Edgbaston as the Phoenix and the Rockets begin their season. That should be another cracker and we'll be bringing you all the action. For now, cheers and bye..
Zak Crawley | Match Hero: Loved it, the boys are great. Coming here with Freddie (Flintoff) around, he's a legend. It's a great place to play cricket and it's an awesome wicket to bat on, so yeah loved it. The outfield was rapid, so the game plan was for us to play strong shots and it came off. The guys kept them down to a really good total. We felt that we could chase that, so yeah it was good from us. Dawid (Malan) and I complement each other nicely. We hit in different areas, so that was good. Made it easy for me towards the end (the way Brook played.) We managed to take regular wickets, we talked about it before the game.
21:25 Local Time, 20:25 GMT, 01:55 IST: A confident start from the home team as they completed the win on a canter. It was well set-up by the bowlers - they were expensive in the beginning, but they clawled their way back into the contest in the second set of the innings, they chipped away at the wickets and didn't allow Welsh Fire to build on a great start. Chasing 144, the openers attacked the new ball and all but closed the match in the batting powerplay itself. Dawid Malan and Micheal Pepper fell within the space of 10 balls, but the win was never in doubt. Zak Crawley marked his Superchargers debut with a fine 38-ball 67* and Harry Brook applied the finishing touches. Fire were better with the ball as the chase progressed, but they didn't have a score to defend and they were not helped by some sloppy catching by the fielders. Riley Meredith bowled with pace and took 2 wickets, but he hardly got any support from the other end. Stay tuned for the presentations..
Chris Green to Crawley, FOUR, Superchargers win by 8 wickets, tossed up invitingly outside off and it's drilled wide of extra-cover for a boundary

Chris Green to Crawley, 1 run, tossed up on ofrf, pushed down to deep mid-on for a run
Chris Green to Brook, 1 run, flighted delivery on off, driven down to long-on for a single
David Payne to Brook, SIX, he's finishing off in a real hurry - a wide full-toss, Brook leans across, opens the face of the bat and then carves it high over cover-point for a maximum
David Payne to Brook, FOUR, sheer power from Brook - slower short ball outside off, sat up to be smacked, Brook waits and then bludgoens it wide of extra-cover, no chance for the man in the deep
David Payne to Crawley, 1 run, full-toss on off, whipped over wide mid-wicket for a single
David Payne to Crawley, no run, another slower ball, pushed across the right-hander as Crawley shuffled on the sweep, he's undone by the lack of pace and the ball bounces through to the keeper
David Payne to Crawley, FOUR, a thick edge, and the ball flies wide of the keeper - was the slower ball and Crawley threw his hands after coming down the pitch, third man was inside the ring and has no chance
Meredith to Crawley, 1 run, short of a length and on off, hacked through mid-wicket for a single
Meredith to Brook, 1 run, short and at the stumps - Brook backs away and pulls it to the left of deep mid-wicket, Green sprints across in the deep and keeps them down to a single
Meredith to Crawley, 1 run, short and into the right-hander, pulled down to deep backward square leg
Looks like there's an issue with Meredith, not sure what happened, but he pops some water from the physio and is stretching a bit, but he'sready to bowl
Meredith to Brook, 1 run, full and following Brook as he backed away, clipped past square leg for a single
Meredith to Crawley, 1 run, slower short ball into the body, deflected off Crawley's thigh-pad and rolled to the off-side
Josh Hull to Brook, 1 run, Welsh Fire have been poor in the field and another chance goes down, a massive top-edge as Brook shaped for the pull, but Hull cleverly followed him and didn't give him any room - went very high and Zaib had plenty of time under the skier, but he fumbles and down goes the chance
Josh Hull to Brook, no run, back of a length and at the stumps, Brook makes room and can't beat backward point with the dab
