What a win for New Zealand. They deserved every bit of it having been so clinical from the start. Guptill and Seifert got them off to a strong start before a devastating 184-run stand between Conway and Phillips as good as batted West Indies out of the contest. Phillips not just got his maiden T20I ton, but it was also the fastest ton by a New Zealander off just 46 balls.

Kyle Jamieson set the tone for the hosts with a brilliant new-ball spell in which he got Brandon King for a golden duck. New Zealand complemented their bowlers with some outstanding fielding and catching. In the end, regular wickets and the inability of any batsmen to get going, rendered it quite a one-sided contest in the end.

New Zealand will be thrilled to not just bag the series, but pick up a successive win after having slipped to seven losses in a row prior to the opening T20I win. Given how they're going, a whitewash will be in their sights. West Indies have a lot of work to do and will seek a bounce back tomorrow when the final game of the series is played.

Thank you for your company today. Hope you enjoyed that masterclass from Phillips. See you tomorrow!

New Zealand win by 72 runs to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series with one to play.

Another catch from Phillips! Geez! What a game he's having.Southee gets Allen as New Zealand inch towards a 2-0 lead.

Bowled 'im!Ferguson responds to Powell taking him to the boundary with a peach that has the stumps disturbed. West Indies are 7 down now...

Oh dear... they're slipping fast now.New Zealand have been outstanding in the field today. Another superb catch and Hetmyer falls to a googly. Santner takes a low, diving catch in the deep putting an end to Hetmyer's innings who has been put out of his misery.

WICKET: Pollard this time. Santner drops it short and wide, asking the WI captain to flat bat it down the ground, where Southee is stationed for exactly that. Good catch from his as well. There's a quick check if his feet has touched the ropes, but it's safe. Pollard goes.

100 up for West Indies but they have a long way to go

Santner strikes!Pooran shuffles across and skews it straight back to Santner who takes the catch himself.

OUT!! Exactly what I meant earlier about not being able to keep Phillips out of the game today.Neesham strikes straightaway after being brought into the attack with Phillips taking a blinder at deep midwicket. Mayers being promoted up the order hasn't worked for WI.

Build-up:What a cracking start we had to the three-match series a couple of days ago! A game that saw momentum swinging like a yo-yo, eventually for the victory to be snatched away from West Indies. New Zealand snapped their seven-match losing streak with a five-wicket win in Auckland. It was the perfect start to the New Zealand summer - and a fitting game for crowds, who returned to a cricket game for the first time in since COVID-19 struck.

Can New Zealand reverse the trend now with another win on the trot?

Hello and welcome to the second T20I between New Zealand and West Indies. Lockie Ferguson set the tone with a career-best five-wicket haul of 5-21, despite skipper Pollard's blitzkrieg of an unbeaten 75. That, after West Indies were reeling at 59/5 after an unbelievable collapse where they scored just two runs in 17 balls and lost five wickets. Rain interruptions forced a truncated 16-over game in the opening game, but WI still got 180 in their allotted overs.

A promising start from Devon Conway coupled with Jimmy Neesham and Mitchell Santner's finishing touches ensured a win with four balls to spare.

Will West Indies bounce back to level the series? A few changes from the first game can be expected though... Firstly, the ground is a bigger one than what Eden Park is, so the role of spinners may rise significantly. A few showers are expected today once again. So we may have a few interruptions once again. We'll find out soon enough.

Join us in a bit for the toss.
