Daryl Mitchell, bowling the last over, cleans up Adil Rashid and ends England's chase on 155, 21 runs short of New Zealand's score. Mitchell Santner returned with three wickets to his credit, while Ish Sodhi, Tim Southee and Lockie Ferguson bagged a brace each. There might not be a lot of differentiate between the two sides with their batting and bowling as much as it was with their catching. New Zealand took their chances, England didn't. The result has, however, brought the five-match series level.

WICKET Chris Jordan's cameo comes to an end, much like the batters, holing out in the deep. However, his 19-ball 36 has given England some hope in this chase. Third wicket for Mitchell Santner.

Chris Jordan is cutting loose with a few slogs. Three sixes and a boundary off four consecutive deliveries by Ish Sodhi. Is there still some fight left in this England innings?

Even as Dawid Malan hit a few lusty blows, New Zealand have maintained their control in the contest by chipping away with regular wickets. Much unlike England, they have been pretty neat with their catching. Ish Sodhi and Mitchell Santner have bagged a brace each.

WICKET Eoin Morgan was looking in good touch, threatened to be the dangerman but Mitchell Santner has managed to dismiss the English skipper. Colin de Grandhomme makes no mistake with the catch at long on. Third wicket down.

WICKET James Vince slashes at a delivery outside off straight to the fielder at deep backward point, and the New Zealand fielders aren't dropping catches. Second wicket down and England are stuttering early in this chase.

WICKET Tim Southee strikes off the first ball. Jonny Bairstow chips the ball to the mid on fielder. Easy wicket.

Jonny Bairstow and Dawid Malan have walked out to open the chase for England.

James Neesham's 22-ball 42 helped New Zealand to 176 for 8. Given the start they managed, in the first 10 overs, it seems slightly less than what they would've liked. But it's a par score. Chris Jordan bagged a third wicket, dismissing Neesham off the last ball of the innings to finish with figures of 3 for 23. His spell in the death overs helped keep New Zealand in check.

Dawid Malan joins the list. Drops an easy chance at long on. Tim Southee survives.

WICKET Chris Jordan strikes again. Looking to go for a big number, Mitchell Santner mistimes the ball high in the air. Easy catch for the long on fielder. Two wickets in the 18th over for Jordan, concedes only two runs.

WICKET Chris Jordan traps Ross Taylor. Unable to find boundaries for a long time, coupled with Jordan's accurate execution had stifled the scoring for New Zealand, and Taylor in specific. Looking to slog a low full toss through mid wicket, Taylor misses.

James Vince drops... again. Third of the innings for one of England's better fielders. This time, it is James Neesham who survives.

WICKET Sam Curran returns to the attack and strikes again. Daryl Mitchell's pickup shot lands safely in the hands of the deep mid wicket fielder. Fifth wicket down for New Zealand. Meanwhile, Ross Taylor is looking in fine touch.

WICKET Lewis Gregory, who wasn't bowled in the first game, has struck off his first delivery today. He knocks the top of Colin de Graandhomme's off stump.
