As our user Raghav pointed out, SRH have done a Delhi, losing 8 for 15. And it happened despite a big start from their openers, which tells you what a fetering wound their middle-order is. Even dropping Manish Pandey and Yusuf Pathan didn't help. Do we see them back next game? Do SRH panic just yet? Do Delhi always play away from home? Interesting questions. Hope you enjoyed the coverage. Cya tomorrow, ta-ta!

A small update: DELHI WIN BY 39 RUNS

I don't have enough fingers, and fingers long enough, to keep up with this collapse. To put it out there: SRH have lost 8 wickets for 15 runs -- the worst 8-wicket collapse in IPL. It's crazy, it's insane. Rabada picked two wickets in one over, Morris betters it with three wickets in the next over, and then Rabada comes back to pick two more. It's summer, and SRH just melted away. I am out of breath, much like the pitch. It had no life. Hitting against the old ball was close to a punishment but not big enough to warrant this royal collapse. SRH have lost their way big time. Delhi, well, you should have seen Ponting and Ganguly jump away, very kid-like.Third consecutive win for Delhi!

find a way again, have rung in the changes. Four of them. No Nabi, Pathan, Pandey, Kaul. In Williamson, Abhishek Sharma, Bhui and Khaleel

The Playing XIs below:

Delhi Capitals: Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, Colin Munro, Shreyas Iyer(c), Rishabh Pant(w), Chris Morris, Axar Patel, Amit Mishra, Keemo Paul, Kagiso Rabada, Ishant Sharma

Sunrisers Hyderabad: David Warner, Jonny Bairstow(w), Kane Williamson(c), Vijay Shankar, Ricky Bhui, Deepak Hooda, Rashid Khan, Abhishek Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sandeep Sharma, Khaleel Ahmed

From Ground Zero

"Shikhar Dhawan is getting a very good reception from the small gathering here as he makes his way out to the middle," pings Narbavi from the ground. Hyderabad love a mo' twirl, don't they?

Build-up...

Glad we don't sleep like koalas. Imagine waking up to a time when Delhi Capitals are winning games. And Sunrisers Hyderabad losing them. I mean I'd never be able to trust the mystery that time is, as much as the theoretical physicists try to make a fetish out of it.

The last time these two teams met at the Feroz Shah Kotla, I was there, watching Delhi unravel on a pitch Ricky Ponting called the worst of the season. But here they are, back to winning ways the moment they got away from home. Who else flourishes when not under the nose of their parents eh? (Me, me...)

Well, here's the match preview by Narbavi. Reports suggest that he's finding Hyderabad hotter than Chennai. Well, well, could have to do with the lack of that monochromatic, blinding shade of yellow. He's also written about how this can be the last chance saloon for Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Do have a read.
