That's it from us folks! Hope you enjoyed our coverage and Bangladesh's cracking win. Until next time then ...

Here's what the players had to say:

Shakib Al Hasan, Man of the Match: I think with the bat everyone contributed. Mushfiqur's contribution was very important. Tamim has been our best batsman in the last 2-3 years and he played really well today. We need to improve everyday. There is healthy competition. We don't want to relax. We hope to continue our good form. In times to come, we will be playing 3 games in 5 days. And we have to do little thinhgs right.

Mashrafe Mortaza: Yes, if you look at recent past, it is one of our best wins. Obviously, you can learn from every game. I think Tamim could have got a hundred. Shakib also could have gone on. The bowling struggled in South Africa but we are back at home. Sabbir has been batting at 3 for a long time. But we feel he can do the job with lesser overs to go. We are trying to find one more batsman who can hit like Sabbir and then we would be fine. Hopefully, Shakib will continue batting like what he did today at number 3 in times to come. Tamim always looks hungry for runs and Mushi has been doing well always for us.

Dinesh Chandimal: Actually, we are very disappointed. In ODIs, we are going through a very bad patch. Credit to Bangladesh, they played some outstanding cricket today. It is tough specially with the injuries around. We need to win one or two games, then I guess we will be alright. Still, we have a chance. If we win next two games, we would still be in the tournament.

Sri Lanka's much talked about rejigging at the top by getting in a new coach and a captain did little to change their ODI fortunes. Chandika Hathurasingha and Angelo Mathews oversaw another ODI defeat, this time at the hands of Zimbabwe, in Sri Lanka's opening game of the tri-series in Bangladesh.

And to make matters worse, Mathews picked up yet another hamstring niggle which has ruled him out of the second game against Bangladesh. But they will take heart in a few positives that came out of that game. The form of the two Pereras - Kusal and Thisara - ought to augur well for the team. They will be concerned with the bowling department though, which conceded 290 against Zimbabwe.

Sri Lanka's problems and Bangladesh's current form at home leaves the latter with a distinct advantage going into Friday's ODI. The hosts come into the game on the back of a comprehensive win in their first outing against Zimbabwe. Good form of key players such as Tamim Iqbal, Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman all point towards a confident outfit.

However, if Sri Lanka do play to their potential then they could do more than just running Bangladesh close. They will not have much time though, the format of the tournament does not allow Sri Lanka too much breathing space. They will be playing three of their four league games in the space of five days.
