That's it from us folks! Hope you enjoyed our coverage. Goodnight!

Here's what the players had to say:

Kohli: Very special, hasn't been done before. Credit to all the hard work the boys have put in. Evidence of the fact how hungry the players are in Indian cricket. Very, very happy as a captain. I look to back my strengths in T20 cricket. It's something I've practiced very hard to mould my game to all formats. When you're two-down chasing 171, we knew it won't be easy. Manish was outstanding as well today.

Tharanga: No we were 15-20 runs short. Munaweera batted really well. In the 10-14th overs we lost momentum. The way Virat batted was outstanding. That's the difference between the two teams. Good sign for us that we fielded well.

?, in a few months.

Will the trend continue?

Hello and welcome to the live blog of the one-off T20I between Sri Lanka and India in Colombo. The last game of the tour and the Indian fans will be pretty pleased for two reasons - the fact that India have dominated so far in the series and it'll also be an end to the one-sided monotonous series as well.

The series has been far from ideal. Sri Lanka have been poor and that made the clashes boring. Some of the decisions made by them have been baffling, the players, who clearly don't belong in the XI, are holding on to past glory and refusing to let go, and are in return bogging the team down.

Wins, wins and more wins - that is all India have been doing ever since setting foot in Sri Lanka a month and a half back. Disappointments have been piling on for Sri Lanka and their fans, who endured a 3-nil whitewash in the Test series followed by a 5-0 drubbing in the ODIs, their worst show at home in a bilateral series. But it isn't over yet, there is still one game to go - the one-off Twenty20 International - and Sri Lanka will be hoping they can salvage some pride through the shortest format. It is easier said than done though as India have been one tough nut to crack and they will be coming out all guns blazing in their attempt to polish off the entire plate.
