The England camp is overjoyed.. they've dodged a massive bullet here. Emotions take over.. bunch of them are in tears. South Africans, on the other hand, are inconsolable. They came very, VERY close to end England's World Cup but will go back home with their head held high. They've already exceeded expectations and a close contest like this makes this campaign a roraing success for them.

Sarah Taylor is the Player of the Match.

England it is! Into the finals with a nervy two-wicket win, with two balls to spare!

Shabnim Ismail sent back Laura Marsh off the third ball of the over to spice things up but Shrubsole sends the very first one she faces to the boundary line to seal their spot in the final, to be played in front of a full-house at Lord's on Sunday.

Wilson departs: Spoke too soon, I think! Marizanne Kapp is thrilled to put an end to that counter-attacking partnership between Gunn and Wilson. She has Wilson caught behind by Chetty, who hasn't had a very good thus far. Seven wickets down now, the hosts. Six required off 12 balls, still England's game to lose, I'd say.

Gunn and Wilson to the rescue: That's what you call keeping calm under pressure. The duo seem hardly frazzled by the narrowing gap between the runs required and the balls remaining. They are on a boundary hitting-spree. South Africa might have triggered a panic in England's camp but it might still not be enough.

BRUNT FALLS: Would you believe it! Moseline Daniels joins the wicket-takers' list and she's bowled Katherine Brunt. It was going to happen soon that later.. she was getting edgy after playing one too many dots. And with that wicket, Daniels has also dashed some of England's hopes. 46 required off as many deliveries now. Fran Wilson holds the key, and Gunn is the new batter in.

The game has changed in a matter of few minutes here and suddenly it looks like South Africa are n with a chance here. Can they create history? Down to Fran Wilson and Katherine Brunt to save England the blushes. 74 required off the remaining 15 overs. Powerplay take, Luus continues.

Is that a turnaround? Van Niekerk had a very, VERY animated chat wit her girls after Taylor's wicket and the results are there for you to see. Wolvaardt plucks one out of thin air and that's the end of Knight's knock. And Luus makes it two in an over as she's bowled Sciver, who had two centuries to her name, around her legs. Sweep has been her go-to shot but Sciver falls to one this time. What a game-changer this over. Luus, take a bow!

TAYLOR RUN OUT: Yet another mixup.. third of the day! Sarah Taylor pays the price this time. Where was the single girls, and what was the hurry? Knight sent the ball to the covers and the duo push for a single that was never there. Taylor falls inches short as Dane van Niekerk nails the direct hit at the keeper's end, even though she thinks she hasn't.

FIFTY FOR TAYLOR: Sarah Taylor doing what she does best - pile on more runs and misery on South Africa. She averages over 55 against them and now gets to another fifty. Remember the brilliant 147 in the league game earlier? England cruising now.

Here comes WWC17's leading wicket-taker, leg spinner Dane van Niekerk. Massive no-ball off the second delivery.

Bowled her! Birthday girl is on a roll. Beaumont and Taylor was the pair that batted South Africa out of the contest in the league round and Khaka takes out the former to ensure there is no repeat telecast. Dane van Niekerk is elated! Heather Knight walks in.

Chetty is back on the field and will resume her job behind the stumps.

FIRST BLOW: Change in bowling brings luck for South Africa and the birthday girl Ayabonga Khaka has dismissed Lauren Winfield for yet another low score in this World Cup. Winfield played out a maiden from Kapp and the pressure maybe got to her. Short and wide ball, Winfield tried to pull but the top-edge lobs up and Mignon du PReez covers some ground to pouch it at backward point. England 42 for 1, in comes Sarah Taylor.

UPDATE: Chetty had walked off the field and Lizelle Lee is behind the stumps now.

Poor keeping or nerves? Chetty is havig a tough time behind the stumps. Winfield is granted a life despite a full-length dive cheety put to her right. Tad late to react to that. Two balls later, a wide delivery down legside runs away to the boundary.

Lauren Winfield and Tammy Beaumont, WWC17's leading run scorer, walk out to open England's innings. Shabnim Ismail will start the proceedings.

SA finish with 218: Du Preez's unbeaten 76 has taken South Africa to 218 for 6. Two run outs there and a wicket each for Knight, Shrubsole, Sciver and Gunn. 219 is the target for England for a place in the final.

Chetty disappoints

Chetty's lean run with the bat continues as she is latest victim of some lazor sharp work behind the stumps from Sarah Taylor. How quick was that! Doesn't look like she's been away at all. Chetty loses her shape while trying to flick that one from Sciver, misses and has only fraction of a second to ground her bat. Taylor's already celebrating by then. England get another wicket, South Africa two down now. Former captain Mignon du Preez walks out now.

Bowling change: Shrubsole is off, here comes Nat Sciver. South Africa are 41/1 after the mandatory powerplay. Here's Laura Marsh.

Lee departs

Bowled her! The destructive Lee is on her way back to the hut after contributing just seven. She used DRS to her advantage and survived a LBW call just an over ago but now, Anya Shrubsole has her revenge. The pressure of too many dots gets on to the batter, she swings her bat wildly and is undone by an inswinging delivery that crashes into her offstump. Sarah Taylor, behind the stumps, and Shrubsole celebrate in a very identical manner. Trisha Chetty, most successful wicketkeeper in women's ODIs, is in next.

Toss

South Africa have won a crucial toss and opted to bat. England are unchanged, while Tryon comes in for Klass for South Africa.

Build Up

South Africa will look to continue their good run when they lock horns against England in the first Women's World Cup semifinal in Bristol.

South Africa, who started the tournament as dark horses, qualified for the semifinals, with four wins out of seven matches. Dane van Niekerk has led from the front, picking up 15 scalps, while Kapp has snared 12 wickets for them. Wolvaardt and Lee have been in prime form with the bat in hand.

England, too, have played with a sense of fearlessness after starting the tournament with a shock loss. Tammy Beaumont (372 runs) is the highest run-getter in the eight-team tournament, while Sarah Taylor, Heather Knight and Sciver have also been among the runs too.
