Man Of the Match: No guesses that Mohammad Siraj was named the Man of the Match for his four wickets and two pairs of wickets in succession. The youngster is still on a hat-trick and has the chance to pick out one when he plays the play-off game. Who SRH will play is yet to be determined, but it's been a brilliant outing from him.
BIG WIN: SRH seal their play-off spot with an eight-wicket win over Gujarat Lions. What an innings it was from David Warner - only his second IPL fifty that was without a six. Vijay Shankar kept him beautiful company, with some clean strikes amid a 133-run unbeaten stand. SRH, in the end, did it comfortably with 11 balls to spare.
It was an innings not typical of Warner, but given the match-situation, he delivered to perfection. He was lucky to be given not out off a caught behind appeal, but cest la vie. Warner remained unbeaten on 69 off 52, while Shankar had 63 off 44.
This is the end of the Gujarat Lions. Their IPL journey has come to an end on a rather dismal note after crumbling the way they did. They were spectacular last season, topping the points table. This time, they languish at the bottom of the table, albeit just above RCB.
600 runs: David Warner has 600 runs in the IPL 2017. Shikhar Dhawan, who is next-best, is way behind his skipper who seems to be in superb touch.
This is the 13th 100-run stand for SRH and David Warner has been part of 12 of those.
SHANKAR SHINES: Without anyone realising, quietly going about his job, young Vijay Shankar has his MAIDEN IPL fifty off 35 balls. His knock has been vital for SRH who lost those two early wickets. Together with his skipper, he added an unbeaten century stand to take SRH closer to that playoff spot. What a knock of significance it has been from the youngster. SRH now need only 20 off 24 balls.
FIFTY FOR WARNER! Another fifty for David Warner. Hasn't been one of his more typical knocks, but has given SRH a great chance after they lost early wickets. It's what the match demanded at that point. Warner has added over 80 runs with Vijay Shankar to keep his side in the chase in the must-win clash.

Sunrisers Hyderabad are a win away from qualification - the first goal the defending champions would have set for themselves ahead of the campaign - and they will be up against Gujarat Lion, a team that has already been ruled out.
On paper, SRH should run away handsome winners, but pressure can do funny things to even top-class teams. Against a Gujarat Lions side that can play freely, SRH will have to guard against any slip up that can cost them a spot in the final four.
