Australia's victory was set up by Billy Stanlake's triple early in New Zealand's innings. Andrew Tye, and the rest of the bowling gang, complimented him well to keep the visitors to just 117. Rain reduced Australia's target to 95 off 90 balls, but in the end, it was quite easily done by the Maxwell-Lynn pair, who put on a 77-run stand for the third wicket to put Australia on course.
Australia win by seven wickets!Maxwell finishes it off with two boundaries in the space of three deliveries. What a comprehensive victory for Australia. They'd been aggressive form the word go, and finish off the match in style, with more than three overs to spare. Maxwell finishes with an unbeaten 40, Lynn chipped in with 44 after those two early blows.
LYNN FALLS:Second wicket for Boult, but too late in the day! Short ball, Lynn pulls but straight to Sodhi. The damage has been already done though. Lynn falls for 44 but he's put Australia on course. Just eight away now.
Because you have to see it to believe it:
