After getting trounced by India in the three-match ODI series, the hosts will be looking to win back their fans with a much-improved performance in the T20I series. Some experts do believe that this format is Zimbabwe's best chance of notching up a win. They do have some big hitters in their ranks but how will they fare up against a bowling attack that has been on fire? Can the former skipper Hamilton Masakadza provide them some sort of an inspiration? Will the others bat with a bit of freedom which was nowhere to be seen in the ODIs?
How about India? They might have won whitewashed the hosts in the ODIs but the general feeling is that they wouldn't be too happy with the fact that some of their batsmen haven't had a hit out in the middle. That is expected to change in this series though considering the nature of the format. The likes of Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav and MS Dhoni himself would love to flex their muscles.
Five Indian players are set to make their debut in T20I cricket. MS Dhoni has won the toss again and he wants to bowl first. Zimbabwe were looking to bowl as well, the skipper Graeme Cremer says.
