Hello and welcome to the first One-Day International of the series between Sri Lanka and Australia at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The visitors will be looking for a turnaround in their fortunes after a 3-0 whitewash in the Test series. Sri Lanka will field a young side ebven in the one-dayers. But they will have the experience of Tillakaratne Dilshan and Thisara Perera to bank upon, other than the regulars - Angelo Mathews and Dinesh Chandimal.

Australia (From): David Warner, Aaron Finch, Usman Khawaja, Steven Smith(c), George Bailey, Matthew Wade(w), James Faulkner, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Moises Henriques, Nathan Lyon, Shaun Marsh

Sri Lanka (From): Tillakaratne Dilshan, Kusal Perera, Danushka Gunathilaka, Kusal Mendis, Dinesh Chandimal(w), Angelo Mathews(c), Dhananjaya de Silva, Seekkuge Prasanna, Suranga Lakmal, Nuwan Pradeep, Dilruwan Perera, Amila Aponso, Avishka Fernando, Thisara Perera, Lakshan Sandakan, Milinda Siriwardana

Steve Smith, Australia skipper, won the toss and elected to field. In a surprising move, Australia have gone in without Shaun Marsh - the centurion from the previous match. They have also excluded Nathan Lyon from the side.

Two wickets - two superb reflex catches to forward short leg. Steve Smith and Moises Henriques are back in the pavilion, while Australia are back in the game.

Australia's miserable run on the Sri Lankan tour has finally come to an end. They struggled their way in the low scoring chase, but made it past the line with a single from Mitchell Starc. Even as James Faulkner bagged four wickets and starred with the ball, it was the half centuries by Steve Smith and Aaron Finch that helped them master the tricky chase. The visitors go 1-0 up in the five-match ODI series
