The World T20 moves across to a new venue. Delhi's Feroz Shah Kotla is the latest ground to host the mega tournament and action kicks off with a match between England and Afghanistan. Eoin Morgan's men are coming on the back of a successful heist against South Africa, which kept them in the reckoning for a place in the semi-final. On the other hand, Afghanistan have proved themselves to be no pushovers, twice running Sri Lanka and South Africa close, only to lose steam towards the end. England have a history of winning tough games and losing matches which should be won on a canter. Can Asghar Stanikzai and his men pull off a memorable upset?

England's first two matches were at the batting paradise of Wankhede and as expected, their batsmen ran amok, posting scores in excess of 180. Joe Root has been their star batsman while the rest of the batting unit chipped in with useful hands. They have crossed 180 twice in the competition and should be confident going ahead. The bowling has been a concern, albeit in perfect batting conditions, although the spin twins, Adil Rashid and Moeen Ali, have done decently. Also, ahead of the clash, Ali had hinted that England might go in with three spinners so it's likely we'll see Liam Dawson as well.

On the other hand, Afghanistan have shown plenty of improvements, but the final piece of jigsaw is still missing. The top-order has been amongst the runs, the bowlers have been consistent while the fielding remains a cause of concern. They are the most inexperienced team remaining in the tournament and it's that lack of exposure that's stopping them from taking the next step forward.

match.

We have an expected result here. Afghanistan threatened to run away with this game but England, first, ended with a flourish and then the bowlers hammered Stanikzai's men to seal a win. They did well to pick England's first seven wicket but a 57-run partnership between Moeen Ali and David Willey meant England posted 142 for 7 on a tricky track.

Afghanistan innings never really got going and all they could manage was 127 for 9. That's it from us folks for this game. Stay tuned for more!
