Brisbane Heat are at the bottom of the table having lost all of their four games so far, while Sydney Thunder have three wins from four games. They have emerged as one of the strongest units this year and were on course to seal their fourth consecutive win against Hobart Hurricanes. However, they lost three wickets in three balls towards the end, to concede the match by 11 runs.

Sydney kicked off last season with a 'thunderous' win but could manage only one more victory in the entire summer to finish seventh but the side have turned the tables beautifully this season.

Can Brisbane take a leaf out of their book and do the same against them? Chris Lynn has led from the front, but not too much has clicked for the unit as a whole. It will be interesting to see if Thunder can maintain their winning momentum, or if the loss will have a bearing on them.
