With two wins out of two, hosts, Australia, sit pretty atop the table in the tri-series. Another win today in Hobart will assure Australia, a place in the finals of the reduced tournament. England are coming off the back of a convincing 9-wicket win over India. A win here will enhance their chances of making the final with the other team, India remaining winless.

Eoin Morgan opined that the wicket would stay true throughout the course of the game while acknowledging the threat posed by Mitchell Starc.
