It promises to be a good battle, doesn't it? Chris Gayle, Marlon Samuels, Darren Sammy vs Dhawan, Dhoni, Kohli etc. The bowlers might not garner a lot of attention before the start of play but remember that R Ashwin was India's Man of the Match in their previous game here. Australia did send Afghanistan on a leather hunt on the same ground but he WACA pitch will be aiding the bowlers a little no doubt. More on that

bowling growing in confidence as we progress in

MS Dhoni in the company of Ravichandran Ashwin brought a sense of calm to the Indian chase following the dismissal of Ravindra Jadeja. The duo added a patient stand for the seventh wicket to take India within touching distance of West Indies' total of 182.

Dwayne Smith dismissed Suresh Raina in his first over as India lost half their side with over 70 runs still to get. The ball that got rid off Raina was perhaps not a wicket taking delivery. Raina chased a wide one outside off-stump and offered a simple catch to keeper Denesh Ramdin ending his troubled stay at the crease.

Excellent bowling change from young Holder

It was the turn of Ravindra Jadeja to fall to the short ball. Andre Russell banged one in and invited Jadeja to take on the fielder at deep-square. Jadeja went for the pull, mistimed it and Marlon Samuels at deep-square took the catch after a fumble. Big blow for India as Jadeja and Dhoni looked set to take India to safety. It's Ashwin and the tail to follow with 47 still to get. Of course, Dhoni is still there.
