Another last over thriller here in the CPL, and once again Barbados Royals come out on the wrong side of the result. A timely win for the Falcons though as they continue their push for the playoffs. That's all for today, join us again tomorrow!

Imad Wasim: It is a relief to win this. Our bowling effort was fantastic, they were looking good for 200 but the way Salman bowled those yorkers was superb. Dropped catches are a part of the match, we all go through it but we need to get better. We were in control from the first ball but we lost wickets in clusters. That is something we need to rectify. The pieces of the puzzle are coming together and everybody is in form. Your effort and attitude is what matters, the results then take care of themselves.

Rovman Powell: We just don't seem to cross the line. However, as a batting group we have done well today. The execution from the batters was good and the bowlers did well too, but we needed to take our chances. (On the last over) It was either me or Sherfane, I didn't want to bring on the spinners in that final over. We just need to take some positives from all the games we've played so far, we just need to stay on top for much longer.

Salman Irshad | Player of the Match: I have played a lot of cricket in PSL and in Bangladesh, so have plenty of death overs experience. I try to bowl in the wide areas during the powerplay and attempt the yorkers in the death overs. I have played plenty of such games in PSL and in Pakistan, I have worked on my yorker a lot. I enjoy bowling in the death overs. I have played under him before when I was with Jamaica, he keeps encouraging me and to believe in my strengths. This was an important match for us because we wanted to win. The target was stiff but we were confident of winning because it was a batting wicket.

22:54 Local Time, 02:54 GMT, 08:24 IST: A thrilling clash at the Kensington Oval has gone in the favour of the visitors. They needed till the last ball to get there, but they got there indeed. The Falcons got a steady start in the powerplay, as Gous and Amir Jangoo got a few boundaries. Jangoo was dismissed by a superb Daniel Sams slower delivery, and the left-arm pacer got two more wickets in his kitty. Gous though kept going as he carried the bat for his team with 85 runs. Shakib and Kevin Wickham got some cameos, and so did the skipper Imad. The match though went to the final ball as Imad was run out by de Kock off the penultimate delivery. Shamar Springer though heaved the final delivery through cow corner to give the Barbados Royals another last over defeat. The Royals though have only themselves to blame with over 7 dropped catches in the outfield.

Rutherford to Shamar Springer, 2 runs, The Falcons soar high!! They get home off the final ball. A gentle length ball at the stumps, Springer swipes it towards cow corner. The longer side of the ground and in a vacant pocket of the ground. The batters gleefully run the second and take the game. Heartbreak for the Royals, a final ball defeat

Shamar Springer, right handed bat, comes to the crease

Full delivery onto the pads, glanced to the left of long-on. The throw from the deep is in front of the stumps, but the keeper anticipates it, comes forward, collects and then throws it at the stumps. Imad Wasim well short of his ground.
