The first ODI might have been a rain-curtailed encounter but South Africa easily managed to achieve a comprehensive win, thanks to debutant Kagiso Rabada, who registered the best figures (6/18) by a bowler on ODI debut and included a sensational hat-trick. His terrific bowling performance ensured that Bangladesh were bowled out for a measly 160. And although, South Africa lost their openers while chasing, Faf du Plessis and Rilee Rossouw helped them past the finish line with ease.

Bangladesh decided to review an LBW decision against du Plessis and it went in vain. Off Mahmudullah's bowling, du Plessis was caught in the crease as he looked to force a shot through off-side but missed and was rapped on the pads. The on-field umpire gave him not out and Hawk-Eye showed that the impact was umpire's call. du Plessis was on 37.
South Africa captain Hashim Amla won the toss and decided to bat first. The tourists are playing the same team they played in the first ODI. For hosts Bangladesh, Jubair Hossain misses out and Rubel Hossain comes in.
Teams:
Bangladesh (Playing XI): Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Litton Das, Mahmudullah, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim(w), Sabbir Rahman, Nasir Hossain, Mashrafe Mortaza(c), Rubel Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman
South Africa (Playing XI): Quinton de Kock(w), Hashim Amla(c), Faf du Plessis, Rilee Rossouw, Jean-Paul Duminy, David Miller, Farhaan Behardien, Chris Morris, Kagiso Rabada, Kyle Abbott, Imran Tahir
Young Mustafizur Rahman gave Bangladesh a fantastic start by dismissing Quinton de Kock at the start of the fifth over on 2. de Kock was pushed back into the crease with a short of length delivery and looked to defend but the ball climbed on him, hit the splice of the bat and flew to backward point, where the fielder held onto a good catch to his right.
Rubel Hossain cleaned up Hashim Amla on 22 as South Africa lost their second wicket. Amla and du Plessis had put up a solid 29-run stand and just as when they were looking to cut loose, Rubel struck with a terrific delivery. Amla had attempted to work a ball on the leg-side but the ball shaped away and crashed into the off stump.

What are South Africa doing? They are crumbling against Bangladesh and not able to add runs.
Nasir Hossain came into the attack and removed Rilee Rossouw on 4 and within a matter of few overs, Mahmudullah got David Miller for 9. South Africa are already four down with half of their overs already gone and are yet to reach triple figures.
Faf du Plessis was the only man fighting it out for South Africa and now even he has gone! Faf did not make use of the lifeline he got and perished to Nasir Hossain, who got his second wicket of the match. Faf went forward and mistimed the slog but ended up hitting it towards Soumya Sarkar at long-on.
The visitors are in plenty of trouble!
