Kelly to Christian, FOUR, second boundary in the over. Kelly went for the yorker but dished out a full toss, Christian swipes it across the line and sends it speeding to the deep backward square fence

Kelly to Christian, FOUR, Christian is playing a fine cameo here. He walks across, gets inside the line and laps it fine, just wide of Bancroft and the ball races to the fine leg fence. Good start to the over..

6
Tye to Christian, no ball, SIX, that's poor from Tye. High full toss and Christian launches it over the deep mid-wicket roof. It was clearly over the waist and the umpire signals a no-ball

Agar to Christian, FOUR, that's better from Christian. He does not premeditated, just holds his ground and waits for Agar to bowl to his area, gets inside the line and sweeps it behind square. No chance for the fielder in the deep to make the stop

Tye to Silk, FOUR, good end to the over, 11 runs. Tye misses the yorker length and dishes out a half volley, Silk drills it straight down the ground and beats a diving Turner near mid-on. No stopping after that

Tye to Christian, FOUR, first boundary in the Power Surge. Slower delivery but it is a drag down, Christian swipes it across the line and beats the desperate dive near the deep square leg fence

Kelly to Daniel Hughes, out Caught by Agar!! Whoa! Agar didn't have much idea about that. But he manages to hang on and that's the important thing for the Scorchers. Full toss outside off, Hughes reaches for it and slices it to backward point, Agar crouches low and takes it over his head. That was close to being called a wide but Hughes chased after it and paid the price. Daniel Hughes c Agar b Kelly 24(25) [6s-1]

M
Kelly to Daniel Hughes, 1 run, slower delivery outside off, Hughes is through the drive early and almost plays it onto the stumps, the inside edge misses the sticks and rolls to the right of Bancroft

6
Tye to Daniel Hughes, SIX, much needed six for the Sixers. Tye went for the slower bouncer but the line was down leg, Hughes gets inside the line and hooks it over fine leg. He got enough to clear the boundary rope

W
Peter Hatzoglou to Jack Edwards, out Lbw!! That was plumb! Hatzoglou knew it and the umpire obliged to his appeal. Edwards picks the wrong delivery to play the sweep, the length was full and the ball was drifting into him, he misses and is struck in-line with the stumps. That would have crashed into middle. Jack Edwards lbw b Peter Hatzoglou 8(10)
7.4
W
Agar to Justin Avendano, out Bowled!! That's a cracker from Agar! The dream left-arm spinner's delivery, drifted in on middle and spun away just a shade, enough to beat Avendano's defence on the outside edge and clipped the top of the sticks. From a steady start, the Sixers are now in a little muddle, having lost both set batters in the same over. Justin Avendano b Agar 23(22) [4s-2 6s-1]

W
Agar to Philippe, out Caught&Bowled!! Another leading edge and this time, Philippe isn't lucky! Was a quicker one outside off, he wanted to work it across the line, ends up miscuing it. Wasn't going to carry to extra cover, so Agar himself had to go for it and he did so with aplomb, to take a sharp tumbling catch. Philippe c and b Agar 32(22) [4s-1 6s-3]

Kelly to Philippe, SIX, cracking shot! Quick hands from Philippe, was full and outside off, he just shuffled a tad and then played a dazzling short-arm jab over cow corner. In the gap and over the ropes for a flat maximum. Incredibly done! He does seem to be in the mood today, Philippe

6
Agar to Justin Avendano, SIX, hits it into the roof! Whoa! Avendano joins in the fun now, goes down on knee, wasn't all that full for the slog sweep but he picked the length well, and smoked it over deep square leg. Monstrous blow

6
Peter Hatzoglou to Philippe, SIX, he's moosed this! The slog sweep is out again and Philippe gets the execution inch-perfect on this occasion. Sends it soaring into the crowd at deep mid-wicket

4
Lance Morris to Justin Avendano, FOUR, fumble from Tye at mid-off and he lets it through! Costs the Scorchers a boundary. Was a low full toss, Avendano drilled it firmly with a straight bat but it was a regulation stop really

4
Lance Morris to Justin Avendano, FOUR, confident stroke from Avendano! Full and a bit too straight, he got across early and flicked it beautifully through square leg. Timed it really well

6
Kelly to Philippe, SIX, shot! Not that bad a ball from Kelly, got it on a length around off but Philippe was already walking down, shuffling across and heaving this over the cow corner fence. Early signs that this seems a good deck, fair amount of pace off the pitch

Lance Morris to Philippe, FOUR, crunched! Morris bangs it short again, this time it sits up nicely for Philippe who stands tall and muscles the pull over mid-wicket. A shot of utter disdain
