Joel Paris to Milenko, leg byes, FOUR, runs bleeding in the final over. Full and on leg stump, Milenko looks to whip it away but goes off the pads. Beats Bancroft to his left and it races away

Joel Paris to Milenko, FOUR, finds the fence this time! Full and wide outside off, Milenko backs away and slices this over short third man. Wanted to go over backward point probably but he'll take the result
18.4
4
Johnson to Milenko, FOUR, more runs! Milenko is taking Johnson on here. Full and quite wide outside off, he uses the depth of the crease before squeezing it through backward point. No chance for third man

F
Johnson to Milenko, SIX, cracking shot! Full and in the slot for Milenko, he holds his shape and lifts it straight over Johnson's head. Crashes into the sightscreen. What a way to bring up fifty! It's been a fine counterattack from him

W
Kelly to Bailey, out Bowled!! Castles him! Bailey wanted the premeditated paddle scoop but Kelly cleverly attacks the stumps with an attempted yorker. Dipping full toss and Bailey isn't able to make any contact. Sees the timber rattled. Timely strike for the Scorchers because this partnership was looking dangerous. Bailey b Kelly 37(33) [4s-5]

4
Joel Paris to Milenko, FOUR, smart batting! Milenko is picking his spots cleverly here. Gives the charge to this fuller ball and chips it over backward point by just opening his bat face. The intent was to just place it and once he cleared the infield, it was always a boundary
16.2
4
Joel Paris to Milenko, FOUR, sliced away over the infield. Milenko is expecting the wide full ball ploy and backs away before throwing his bat it. Carves it over backward point comfortably and Cartwright at sweeper cover was quite slow to react

6
Bresnan to Milenko, SIX, Milenko is dealing in maximums! This was a poor ball from Bresnan, a full toss and although it came off the toe end of the bat, such was Milenko's power that it cleared a leaping long-on fielder with ease
15.4
4
Bresnan to Bailey, FOUR, makes the Free Hit count, does Bailey. Very full and attacking the stumps, gets his front leg out of the way and whacks it straight down the ground. Long-on tried but in vain. One bounce to the fence
15.4
Bresnan to Milenko, no ball, 1 run, caught in the deep but it's a waist high no ball from Bresnan. Very high full toss and Milenko wanted to deposit this into the crowd as well. Got it high on the bat though and Cartwright in the deep settled under it. Immediately fired the throw back as he was aware of the no ball

6
Bresnan to Milenko, SIX, dumped into the crowd! Milenko is certainly striking them well tonight. Backed away to make room but Bresnan followed him with a short ball. In the end, Milenko held his shape to shovel the pull deep into the crowd at backward square leg fence. This is turning out to be a little gem from Milenko but he needs to bat deep
14.2
6
Johnson to Milenko, SIX, monstrous hit! Milenko does pack a punch in his shots and this proves it further. Smashing Johnson into the stands is no mean feat and that's what he has done here. Short ball, picks it early with a swivel and clouts the pull over deep backward square leg. It's gone out of the ground!

4
Kelly to Bailey, FOUR, good placement! Some sort of momentum now for the Hurricanes. The slower bouncer but Bailey has picked it early and he swivels to pull it away fine down the leg-side. Fine leg had no chance

6
Agar to Milenko, SIX, gets hold of this one! Flatter and around off, Milenko has made up his mind to go for the sweep against Agar and middles this beautifully. Well over the man at deep backward square leg
11.3
4
Bresnan to Bailey, FOUR, that's been thrashed by the skipper. Welcome boundary for the Hurricanes. With mid-off up, this was poor from Bresnan to go for the full ball. Bailey takes it on with a fierce drive and gets it wide off the fielder

W
Agar to Christian, out Bowled!! That's two in the over for Agar! He is on a roll tonight. Slows this down considerably and there isn't any room to work with but Christian decides to go for a fierce cut shot. Only manages to drag it onto the stumps. What an implosion this has been from the Hurricanes! From 41/0, they have slipped to 68/4. Scorchers have roared back in style. Christian b Agar 1(2)

W
Agar to Ben McDermott, out Stumped!! Agar strikes! This is a just reward for some outstanding slow bowling. He had bowled two extremely tight overs and McDermott knew that he had to do something with the lack of momentum. Steps out a bit too early for the slog but Agar hangs this up in the air at a much slower pace. Beats the bat comfortably and the easiest of stumpings for Bancroft. Ben McDermott st Bancroft b Agar 8(15) [4s-1]

Bresnan to Ben McDermott, FOUR, smashed away! For the second time in the over, the man at sweeper cover has been a spectator. Width on offer from Bresnan and McDermott absolutely clobbers the drive through the covers. Picked his spot before unleashing all the power
7.2
4
Bresnan to Bailey, FOUR, top shot! Too full and wide outside off, Bailey eases the cover drive and picks the gap to perfection. The man in the deep was squarer and had no chance

W
Kelly to D'Arcy Short, out Caught by Agar!! This is a huge wicket! Both the Hurricanes openers have gone to rather soft dismissals. Probably the slower ball from Kelly and Short wanted to loft this down the ground. Didn't get a good piece of it and ended up toe-ending it straight to Agar at mid-on. After the initial blitz, the Scorchers are dragging things back. D'Arcy Short c Agar b Kelly 11(13) [4s-2]

4
Kelly to D'Arcy Short, FOUR, that's been crunched! On a good length and wide outside off, not very full but Short is on the move and uses his quick hands to power this through the covers

W
Joel Paris to Wade, out Caught by Whiteman!! Soft, soft dismissal! Wade cannot believe his luck. This was short and angling into him, he moved across a bit to pull but couldn't keep it down. Bresnan at short fine leg times his leap well to take a sharp catch. Much-needed wicket for the Scorchers. Wade c Whiteman b Joel Paris 31(17) [4s-5 6s-1]

4
Kelly to Wade, FOUR, another poor ball and this time, it's been dispatched. Gentle half-tracker and it's down leg as well, cannot get easier for Wade who swivels to pull it easily over short fine leg
3
4
Johnson to D'Arcy Short, FOUR, creamed! Shot of a man in supreme form. A touch too full from Johnson and Short is onto it in a flash. Drives it beautifully on the up and gets it wide of mid-off
2
4
Joel Paris to Wade, FOUR, nothing lucky about this shot. This has been dismantled! Fullish and outside off, Wade gets forward and smacks it through the covers. Absolute power! The Hurricanes have started like their name suggests - blowing away
1.5
4
Joel Paris to Wade, FOUR, dropped by Bresnan! He was placed there just a ball before and this was regulation but he probably misjudged it by running across. In the end, he ended up parrying it past the ropes. It was a premeditated paddle scoop from Wade and although he didn't time it at all, had enough legs to get it towards the deep. In the end, he got lucky

4
Joel Paris to Wade, FOUR, bleeding runs here, is Paris. Struggling with line, struggling with length as well. Shorter this time and dishes out plenty of width, Wade hangs back and hacks the cut through point
1.3
6
Joel Paris to Wade, SIX, clears the ropes! Wade has decided to make the most of this new promotion as an opener. Full and in the slow for him, gets across and clubs it over mid-on. Effortless and it went all the way

Joel Paris to Wade, FOUR, flayed away! Short and too wide outside off, easy for Wade who cuts it away through point. Placed it in the gap and struck it sweetly as well
