Fawad Ahmed to Wells, out Bowled!! Looked like the flipper, short on leg stump, the batsman didn't read it off the hand and thought it was short enough to cut. The ball goes wait beneath his flashing blade and thumps into the leg-stump. Wells departs after a painful vigil at the crease. Wells b Fawad Ahmed 10(13)

Fawad Ahmed to Carey, out Bowled!! Ahmed has his man! What an over this is turning out to be! Lot of action and twists. Another googly and Carey is bamboozled once more. Played down the wrong line and saw the timber rattled. Once again, Ahmed is making a big impact for the Thunder. The Strikers need a partnership. Carey b Fawad Ahmed 34(28) [4s-4 6s-1]

Fawad Ahmed to Carey, SIX, lot of drama! And Carey gets a six eventually. Walked down the track for the slog sweep and it went uppishly towards long-on. Patterson it was again in the firing line and he took the catch initially before realizing that the momentum is taking him beyond the rope. Throws it up and then gets back from behind the ropes to take it. Seemed a good job initially but replays showed that his foot had touched the rope while taking the catch. Anti climax!

Fawad Ahmed to Carey, FOUR, that's been blasted away! Brilliant shot, floated up by Ahmed and Carey takes it on the fujll with a fearsome slog sweep over mid-wicket. Picked the bones out of that shot

Fawad Ahmed to Head, out Caught by Kurtis Patterson!! Head has to go! His misery against spinners continues. For moment, this seemed like it was heading for a six though, but Patterson judged it well near the ropes to take it. Head walked down the track for the lofted stroke and probably middled it well but couldn't get the distance on the shot. It was a shorter boundary down there and so he did have a chance to get away but couldn't. Big blow to the Strikers. Head c Kurtis Patterson b Fawad Ahmed 12(13) [4s-1]

Fawad Ahmed to Head, FOUR, Sandhu is late to get down on the dive at short fine leg and this sneaks past him to the fence. Wasn't a great ball anyway from Ahmed, floated around leg stump and Head connected the sweep well. A better fielder might have maybe got a hand to it, maybe

McClenaghan to Carey, FOUR, thrashed! Carey is looking good here, gets a half-volley sprayed with a bit of width. He just leans into the drive and spanks through cover. Found the gap and the rest was obvious on this outfield

Gurinder Sandhu to Weatherald, out Caught by Buttler!! Sandhu strikes! Another start wasted by Weatherald and he'll be disapppointed. This was clever bowling though, the off-cutter from Sandhu and it slanted across the left-hander, a bit of extra bounce as Weatherald pushed inside the line. Buttler did the rest moving forward to take a good low catch. Weatherald c Buttler b Gurinder Sandhu 15(13) [4s-2]

Gurinder Sandhu to Carey, FOUR, kaboom! That was struck with some power I tell you. Anothe fuller ball, Sandhu isn't learning and pays the price. Carey brings his bat down like a sledgehammer and smokes it past the bowler. Anyone who got in the way wouid have been hurt for sure, it rocketed away
