Takes a couple of steps down the pitch, gets too close to the pitch of the ball and hence does not get the room to free her hands, mistimes it towards long-on and Smriti takes it calmly. Full delivery around off, in the slot but Dilhari does not have the power or timing to clear Amanjot. She hits it towards long-off and Amanjot comes in, bends forward and takes a good low catch. It was she who had put down a couple of chances in the previous game and denied Vaishnavi her first international wicket, so she's relieved and happy for her colleague. This is darted full around off, Samarawickrama shuffles across and flicks it in front of square. Amanjot gets around from deep mid-wicket, picks it up cleanly and sends in a flat throw to the striker's end, Richa Ghosh collects and lights up the stumps. Samarawickrama puts in a full length dive but the ball pops as she hits the ground and is in the air as she passes the crease. The third umpire took her time but made the right call. Shree Charani to Harshitha Madavi, FOUR, much needed boundary for Sri Lanka. Samarawickrama shimmies down and lofts to long-on. Gaud comes in for the catch, the ball dips on her and escapes under her grasp to the fence

Vaishnavi Sharma to Kavisha Dilhari, no run, India lose a review. But not sure ball-tracking got it right. Dilhari sits down and misses the sweep. The ball lands around leg-stump and straightens, beats everything and strikes Dilhari on the arm. Ball-tracking showed it to be missing leg-stump which meant the ball was going on with the angle, but that was not the case, it did straighten and that's the reason Dilhari missed the sweep. Anyway, the wait for Vaishnavi's maiden wicket continues..

Arundhati Reddy to Harshitha Madavi, leg byes, FOUR, neatly done! Slanted down leg from round the wicket, Samarawickrama sits down and gloves the paddle sweep fine of the fielder. No chance for a diving Richa Ghosh as well. Umpire signals leg-byes but replays show it came off the gloves

She takes a step or two down the pitch and looks to loft down the ground, but Charani pushed it through quicker and hits the splice of the bat, the ball balloons straight back up and Charani hangs onto a dolly. Kranti Gaud to Hasini Perera, FOUR, boundaries flowing for Sri Lanka.. Short of length delivery, does not bounce much, sits up nicely and Perera nails the pull in front of square, beats mid-wicket and there's no stopping that

Slows it up and invites the big shot, Athapaththu looks to go down the ground and the ball dips on her, miscues it towards long-off and Amanjot settles under it, juggles once before clinging on. Kranti Gaud to Vishmi Gunaratne, out Caught&Bowled!! Soft dismissal! She is so good off her own bowling. We saw a couple of these in the World Cup. Those were blinders, this was a simple chance.
