Logan van Beek to Hardik Pandya, out Caught by Roelof van der Merwe!! This is too high and this time it's not clearing long-off. Slower delivery wide of off stump, Hardik waits and smacks off the back foot. Went off the toe end of the bat so the power wasn't there. Long-off ran in to take a good catch. Hardik Pandya c Roelof van der Merwe b Logan van Beek 30(21) [6s-3]

6
Logan van Beek to Rinku Singh, SIX, smoked over mid-wicket! Full and on the pads, Rinku had his front leg out of the way and smashed it way over the ropes
19.2

Logan van Beek to Shivam Dube, out Caught by (sub)Timm van der Gugten!! Is that carrying over the fielder? No! Taken but they are checking. The ad cushion hasn't moved so looks out. OUT it is. Short ball down the leg-side, Dube rocked back and pulled that nicely but picked out fine leg. Fielder did well to stretch his hands overhead and grab it on one leg. Released the ball before crossing the rope and came back in to take it cleanly. Dube raises the bat to the crowd as he walks off. Shivam Dube c (sub)Timm van der Gugten b Logan van Beek 66(31) [4s-4 6s-6]

6
Logan van Beek to Shivam Dube, SIX, low full tossss and just over wide long-on. Logan van Beek misses the yorker. Not an easy ball to hit. Almost went off the bottom of the bat but still had enough power. Great start to the over for India
18.5
6
Kyle Klein to Hardik Pandya, SIX, this is high, so high but it's gone over long-off. Kyle Klein puts his hand on the mouth in disbelief. That looked like a mishit going to the long-off fielder and suddenly you see it clearing the ropes. Short slower delivery, Hardik went for the back foot slap and hit it straight and hit. Had enough legs on it to clear the ropes
18.3
6
Kyle Klein to Hardik Pandya, SIX, he tees off against pace finally. Wasn't pace on though. Short slower delivery served up nicely after showing it too early from the hand. Hardik waited and smoked it way over long-on
18.1
4
Kyle Klein to Shivam Dube, FOUR, very smart from Dube. Kyle Klein was trying to nail the leg stump yorker because short fine leg was up and they had a deep backward square leg as well. Dube just got inside the line for a glance to the right of the man at 45. Not sure if this is the right plan from the bowler
18.1
Kyle Klein to Shivam Dube, wide, that's well down the leg-side. Dube got inside the line as well but it was still wide anyway
17.4
4
Bas de Leede to Shivam Dube, FOUR, yes he had a problem playing the short ball but that's from the past. He's worked on the pull shot and now he's scoring many runs with that shot. Bas de Leede took pace off and bowled short, but Dube read it from the head, delayed the pull and placed it so well behind square to split the fielders in the deep

F
Logan van Beek to Shivam Dube, FOUR, it's a 25-ball fifty and it's his first in World Cups. The Indian dugout is up to applaud this innings. Hardik gives him a hug and pats him on the back. Dube raises the bat and acknowledges the applause from the crowd as well. Logan van Beek tried to bowl full and wide, Dube reaches out and drives past extra-cover
16.5
6
Logan van Beek to Shivam Dube, SIX, now he bowls a slower ball right in the slot. Logan van Beek isn't hiding his slower balls wisely. He gives it away too early in the release so Dube waits and belts it down the ground over long-on
16.2
6
Logan van Beek to Shivam Dube, SIX, slower ball sat up on the pitch and Dube smashed the pull over deep square leg. The problem wasn't the slower ball. The problem was bowling close to Dube and letting him have a go at full tilt. Had to be wide of him. Dube with another impactful innings in this World Cup
15.5
6
Roelof van der Merwe to Hardik Pandya, SIX, slot, whacked! Roelof van der Merwe just missed the yorker, front leg out of the way for Hardik and he left nothing in the tank for a flat six over mid-wicket
15.3
6
Roelof van der Merwe to Shivam Dube, SIX, Roelof van der Merwe tries to go for the yorker and dishes out a full toss. Dube said thank you very much and muscled it over mid-wicket

Kyle Klein to Suryakumar Yadav, out Caught by (sub)Timm van der Gugten!! In the airrr and straight to long leg. SKY stands there in disbelief with a hand on his hip. He loves whipping the ball over long leg for fun. This was an absolute hit me ball on the pads, SKY whips the pick up shot but he hit it so flat and it just about carried to the fielder. Fielder judged it so well from the background. Levitt will be a relieved man as SKY didn't hurt his team much after the life he gave. Suryakumar Yadav c (sub)Timm van der Gugten b Kyle Klein 34(28) [4s-2 6s-1]
12.4
6
Colin Ackermann to Shivam Dube, SIX, Dube is teeing off. Once again it is length and the pace is just right for Dube, he opens up that front leg and gives himself the space to flow through the shot, lofts it wide of long-on and there's no problem clearing the rope
12.3
4
Colin Ackermann to Shivam Dube, FOUR, Dube starting to get going. 98.2ks overpitched outside off. The idea was to bowl the yorker but Ackermann does not nail it, but Dube does - he drills the drive in front of square and beats long-off to the right
12.1
6
Colin Ackermann to Shivam Dube, SIX, back to back sixes. Dube joins in. Ackermann is not as accurate as Dutt. This is right in the arc and Dube does not miss out, he clears his front leg and heaves it long into the deep mid-wicket stands
12
6
Bas de Leede to Suryakumar Yadav, SIX, Suryakumar breaks the shackles. "First boundary in 19 balls," informs Robin Uthappa on air. He was waiting for this ball - full and angling into middle, he gets inside the line and uses those strong wrists to whip it into the crowd over long leg
10.5
Aryan Dutt to Shivam Dube, no run, Netherlands don't lose the review. That was close and the rub of the green has gone Dube's way. The Dutch players can't believe it. Another slider which keeps coming in, Dube is cemented to the crease and is beaten for pace, the ball sneaks past the inside edge and strikes the back pad. The impact was in front of leg-stump and ball-tracking showed it to be just clipping

Logan van Beek to Tilak Varma, out Caught by Roelof van der Merwe!! Now, that's the Dutch way. van der Merwe has pulled off a stunner. Mind you, he is 41 years old but that does not matter. Fullish slower ball, Tilak reaches outside off and lofts it wide of long-off. Not sure he middled it as the ball didn't have the legs to clear the rope. van der Merwe runs to his right and flies sideways to clasp it with both hands. He went reverse cup and got it right in the middle of his hands. The ball was in his control even as he hit the ground, got up and nonchalantly threw the ball up, looked at the crowd and gave one of those impressions - this is how you do it. Tilak Varma c Roelof van der Merwe b Logan van Beek 31(27) [4s-3 6s-1]
8.4
4
Logan van Beek to Suryakumar Yadav, FOUR, short of length around off, Suryakumar backs away and has a slash. He intentionally went up and over the slip cordon. There was a bit of extra bounce and Suryakumar played that well in the end
8.2
Logan van Beek to Suryakumar Yadav, 1 run, dropped! Levitt the culprit. This is a sitter and he has put it down. One such drop cost them the game against Pakistan. They will hope this does not come back to haunt them. Short of length delivery, bounces just over the waist and Suryakumar goes for the pull, gets a top-edge and the ball goes a mile up, Levitt steadies himself near deep square leg. He first thought about going reverse cup but changed his mind and went the conventional way but to only spill the catch
5.3
Kyle Klein to Tilak Varma, 1 run, just over mid-wicket. Short of length delivery and Tilak is rushed on the pull, gets it high on the bat and has enough to clear the infield. Couple of fielders give chase and keep it to a single
5.1
4
Kyle Klein to Suryakumar Yadav, FOUR, lovely shot! Full delivery outside off, ample width on offer and Suryakumar leans into the drive, caresses it in front of square. There's a sweeper out in the deep but he had no chance. The timing is superb..
4.5
4
Aryan Dutt to Tilak Varma, FOUR, shot! Wrong line and length from Dutt. Full and angling in, Tilak leans forward and does not try to overhit the flick, places and times it beautifully it the right of mid-wicket. No need to run for that..
4.2
W
Aryan Dutt to Ishan Kishan, out Bowled!! Dragged on! Second wicket for Dutt. India's openers are back in the dugout within the powerplay. Dutt has won the battle against Abhishek and Ishan. What a start for the Netherlands! There was a bit of luck in this dismissal but they won't be complaining. Short of length and sliding down, Ishan looks to help it over backward square and misses, the ball hits the thigh pad and lobs up, then hits his elbow and drops onto the stumps. Ishan tried to keep it out with his bat but he was late as the ball had dislodged the bail. Ishan Kishan b Aryan Dutt 18(7) [4s-2 6s-1]
4.1
4
Aryan Dutt to Ishan Kishan, FOUR, there's a fielder in the deep. Not off the middle. But Ishan has placed it wide of the fielder. Fraction short and Ishan is quick to rock back, hammers the pull to the right of deep mid-wicket, one bounce and over the ropes
4
4
Colin Ackermann to Tilak Varma, FOUR, poor delivery and Tilak helps himself to a boundary. Sliding down leg, he sits down and sweeps it fine past the fielder inside the ring. Looks like he hurt himself while playing that shot..
3.3
6
Colin Ackermann to Ishan Kishan, SIX, that's a gift and with the kind of form Ishan is in, he is not missing out. He comes down the track, gets a juicy full toss and tonks it over deep extra cover. Right off the middle and the ball sails the distance
2.3
4
Aryan Dutt to Tilak Varma, FOUR, first time Dutt has missed his mark. This is right in the slot and Tilak does not miss out, 100.8ks length delivery around off, Tilak had the space to free his hands and he lofts through the line, wide of mid-on and the ball flies away
1.3
4
Logan van Beek to Ishan Kishan, FOUR, Ishan is off the mark with a boundary. Another loose delivery - leg-lined delivery, easy pickings for Ishan, he flicks it backward of square and the fast outfield takes care of the rest
1.1
6
Logan van Beek to Tilak Varma, SIX, Tilak pumps it all the way. Full pitcher around off, right in the slot and Tilak needs no invitation, he lofts through the line and sends it flat, just manages to clear the rope

Aryan Dutt to Abhishek Sharma, out Bowled!! Cleaned up! Three ducks in a row. The change of jersey does not work. Aryan Dutt is pumped and so are rest of his teammates. Not the best of starts to the tournament for the World number 1 batter. He is yet to score a run in his first T20 World Cup and walks back dejected - eyes closed and head fallen back. This is pushed through, the new ball skids on, Abhishek thinks it is short enough to play the pull and goes for it. The ball sneaks past his bat and makes a mess of the stumps. Abhishek Sharma b Aryan Dutt 0(3)
