Dushmantha Chameera to Adam Zampa, out Adam Zampa Run Out!! 1 run completed. What a finish from Sri Lanka! Last 2 overs - 6 runs and 4 wickets. Another slower ball from Chameera, Zampa punches it to sweeper cover and Ellis calls for the second. Zampa had to go and he's nowhere close to making it. The throw is good from the deep and Kusal Mendis does the rest. Adam Zampa run out (Kamindu Mendis/Kusal Mendis) 1(1)

Dushmantha Chameera to Nathan Ellis, out Xavier Bartlett Run Out!! Nice work from Kusal Mendis. Bartlett tries to steal a bye but is caught short by Mendis' direct hit. Slower ball around off, Ellis stays deep in the crease and swings to the leg-side, misses and the ball bounces on the way to Mendis. He gloves it cleanly and under arms it onto the stumps. Bartlett well short of the crease that even the third umpire was not required. Xavier Bartlett run out (Kusal Mendis) 0(3)

Dushmantha Chameera to Marcus Stoinis, out Caught by Maheesh Theekshana!! This is an excellent return from Chameera. He went for 16 runs in his first over. But his next 2.3 overs has gone for 19 and he's picked up 2 wickets. Another off-pace delivery, slanted across and Stoinis had no other option but to go for the big shot, the outside edge flies towards short third and Theekshana takes a superb catch. He moves to his right and dives to cling on with both hands. Marcus Stoinis c Maheesh Theekshana b Dushmantha Chameera 4(6)

Maheesh Theekshana to Cooper Connolly, out Caught by Kusal Perera!! Connolly perishes in search of quick runs. So far so good from Theekshana - 2 runs and 1 wicket. Dushmantha Chameera to Josh Inglis, out Caught by Dunith Wellalage!! Chameera is pumped! He has a few words to Inglis as he goes towards his team mates to celebrate. Not sure it was required. 140ks well-directed short ball, angled across and Inglis is rushed on the pull, the ball takes the top-edge and goes straight up, Wellalage comes in from backward point and takes a simple catch. Kusal Mendis too was coming for the catch but backed away as Wellalage called for it. Josh Inglis c Dunith Wellalage b Dushmantha Chameera 27(22) [4s-3]

Dushmantha Chameera to Josh Inglis, FOUR, what timing! 114.5ks leg-cutter on off, not full or anywhere close to the driving length, but Inglis stays in the crease and drives it on the up, down the ground and the timing beats the long-off fielder

Dushan Hemantha to Josh Inglis, FOUR, lovely shot! Floated up around off, Inglis stays leg-side and has the space to play the inside out loft, nails it over extra cover and almost sends it all the way

W
Dushan Hemantha to Glenn Maxwell, out Caught by Pathum Nissanka!! Oh my! Nissanka has made up for the drop catch with a tougher catch. He will be a relieved man. Flighted delivery on off, Maxwell sits down and belts the reverse sweep towards backward point. He struck that flat and seemed to have got enough elevation, but Nissanka times his leap to perfection and takes it over his head, falls to the ground and still manages to have control on the ball. Third wicket for Hemantha and he's pumped. Glenn Maxwell c Pathum Nissanka b Dushan Hemantha 22(15) [4s-1 6s-1]

Dushmantha Chameera to Josh Inglis, FOUR, wow! Inglis nails the reverse lap. He crouches low, gets under the length and lifts it over the short third region
15.2
Dushmantha Chameera to Glenn Maxwell, 2 runs, dropped! Nissanka is the fielder. This is a massive moment. Maxwell is looking in ominous form and he's been given a reprieve. Slower delivery and Maxwell does not spot it, he's through the shot early and miscues it straight up. The ball went up a mile and Nissanka comes in from long-on, he gets there and tries to take it with both hands, but the ball goes through his extended hands and body. That's a costly miss..
14.5
Kamindu Mendis to Glenn Maxwell, 2 runs, excellent running. Maxwell nudges it with soft hands to mid-wicket and Kamindu gives chase, but he can't prevent the second. The fielder from the deep has a wild throw but no extra runs conceded

Dunith Wellalage to Tim David, FOUR, he had a slip earlier in the over but the man was taken out! Would've been straight to him! Slow and tossed up, drifting in on middle, tempts David to go for the big hit but the ball turns sharply. It takes the edge and flies past the keeper
10.5
Hemantha to Josh Inglis, no run, missed stumping! Inglis had no hope had Mendis gathered it cleanly but he fumbles! Such a good delivery from Hemantha who deserved another wicket. It's floated up, drifts in on middle and leg and lures Inglis to flick through the on-side. But there's dip, there's turn and he's completely opened up as it rips past the edge. Unlucky for the leggie!

W
Hemantha to Mitchell Marsh, out Lbw!! Huge shout for LBW! Mendis is relentless with his appealing but the finger stays down. They've gone for the review. Oh that's plumb. Only thing that could've saved him was the inside edge but it was pad first. Marsh starts walking as soon as he sees the replay and the fightback from Sri Lanka continues. Hemantha again, the one who started it. Beats Marsh in length as he hangs back to a full delivery and is struck on the back pad. Crashing into middle as per ball-tracking. Mitchell Marsh lbw b Hemantha 54(27) [4s-8 6s-2]

Dunith Wellalage to Cameron Green, out Stumped!! Green departs early and it's two good overs in a row for Sri Lanka. Crowd erupts. He comes dancing down for a big shot, Wellalage bowls it wide and then gets the ball to grip. It's enough to beat the edge and Mendis takes care of the rest. Neat stumping! Cameron Green st Kusal Mendis b Dunith Wellalage 3(7)

W
Hemantha to Travis Head, out Caught by Kamindu Mendis!! Big celebration from Hemantha as he breaks the partnership. Sri Lanka desperately needed that. He switches to over the wicket, slants it wide of off and makes Head reach for the big hit. It's off the bottom of the bat and the catch is taken at long-off. On a shorter ground, that might've gone all the way despite not being off the middle. Travis Head c Kamindu Mendis b Hemantha 56(29) [4s-7 6s-3]
