Shaheen Afridi to Axar Patel, out Caught by Saim Ayub!! Axar Patel loses shape on the slog, the bat turns in his hands and deep mid-wicket runs in to take a great diving catch. Just 1 run off the last 2 balls and that will please Pakistan. Shaheen went for a full delivery, was there to be hit but the connection wasn't right from Axar. Axar Patel c Saim Ayub b Shaheen Afridi 0(1)

Shaheen Afridi to Rinku Singh, out Shivam Dube Run Out!! 1 run completed. Oh confusion and Dube is out. Rinku slapped this short of length delivery over cover. Sweeper cuts it off. Dube thought the second was on so he charged. Rinku said no and Dube had to reverse and stretch full length. Nawaz fired a good throw to the keeper who caught him well short. Dube not happy with Rinku. Did he stretch his hamstring? But he seems fine as he jogs off the field. The third ump wasn't needed. Shivam Dube run out (Mohammad Nawaz/Usman Khan) 27(17) [4s-3 6s-1]

Shaheen Afridi to Rinku Singh, SIX, this guy is a great finisher if you offer pace. Absolute slot ball from Shaheen Afridi as he misses the yorker. Rinku gets under it and smokes it high and handsome over mid-wicket

4
Shaheen Afridi to Rinku Singh, FOUR, what was that? He just casually played with one hand and managed to get four for it! Slower delivery into the wicket, sat up and had a lot of width. Rinku was early into the shot to the bottom hand came off the handle. He went for a slap with one hand and sliced it over backward point
19.1
4
Shaheen Afridi to Shivam Dube, FOUR, but Shaheen Afridi dishes out a slower delivery right in the slot for Dube to belt down the ground. Picked the slower ball early, waited to bring his bat down and drilled that hard along the ground for a boundary pretty straight
18.5

Usman Tariq to Suryakumar Yadav, out Caught by Saim Ayub!! Finally Usman Tariq gets a wicket off the penultimate ball of his spell. He might not have been in the wickets but he's had a great impact with his economy. He paused to deliver this flatter delivery. SKY moved across to slog this over mid-wicket. Mistimed the shot and the big boundaries at RPS ensures it's not going all the way. Saim Ayub seemed to have misjudged that a wee bit but he managed to pouch it in the end. Suryakumar Yadav c Saim Ayub b Usman Tariq 32(29) [4s-3]

4
Usman Tariq to Shivam Dube, FOUR, he steps out and belts Usman Tariq over his head towards the sightscreen. Good use of the feet to put the bowler off his lengths. You don't see Dube stepping out often but that's what Usman Tariq has forced him to do with the pause. He got to the pitch of the ball and smashed it straight

6
Abrar Ahmed to Shivam Dube, SIX, that's what Dube can do! Just one loose ball is all he wanted. Abrar Ahmed dropped it short even though he got some turn on it. Dube loves to hang back so it was an easy pull shot for him over deep mid-wicket for a much needed maximum
17.1
4
Abrar Ahmed to Suryakumar Yadav, FOUR, oh what a shot! So difficult to play a straight-batted back foot loft on this pitch. The ball was quick so he had no time, yet he managed to get under the ball, hold a high elbow and pierce the gap between deep mid-wicket and long-on
15.5
4
Mohammad Nawaz to Shivam Dube, FOUR, he's managed to force the pull off the back foot. Didn't middle it all that well but got it in the gap at square leg. Two men in the deep are split to perfection. Nawaz tried to drop it short but Dube was on the back foot to execute the boundary
14.4
Saim Ayub to Shivam Dube, no run, great hat-trick ball from Saim Ayub. Sucked Dube into a front foot push and Dube isn't one to move his feet nicely towards the pitch of the bat. A tentative defence, ball turned square after pitching around middle and leg. Turn was good but the bounce helped Dube escaped from being bowled. Ball jumped over the off stump. Emotional appeal from the keeper and tricked his captain into a review, only to lose it as UltraEdge was silent when the ball went past the bat

Saim Ayub to Hardik Pandya, out Caught by Babar Azam!! This is highhh, is it long? Nooo! Hardik has been attacking the spinner straightaway these days. He chanced his arm given that his team is in a strong position. But he mishit this carrom ball. Wise of Saim Ayub to bowl it wide of off and make Hardik fetch the loft. Ball went off the bottom of the bat and into orbit. Long-off judged it really well into his hands and Saim Ayub is on a hat-trick. He is pumped. He gives Hardik a bit of a sendoff. Hardik Pandya c Babar Azam b Saim Ayub 0(1)

Saim Ayub to Tilak Varma, out Lbw!! He's missed it and that's plumb. Full and on the stumps, Tilak went for the sweep. Too full for the shot? No seems like it just bounced over the bat with some turn as Tilak was through the shot early. Impact in line with middle stump from round the wicket and when that happens it means it's straightened enough for the finger to go up. Tilak walks off without wasting the review. Ball-tracker says ball hitting a decent part of leg stump (ump's call) so he would have been out anyway. Tilak Varma lbw b Saim Ayub 25(24) [4s-2 6s-1]
13.4
4
Mohammad Nawaz to Suryakumar Yadav, FOUR, now SKY goes behind square with the sweep and Shadab makes a mess of it at the deep backward square leg fence. He was lazy to bend and he couldn't handle the last second spin when it bounced just in front of him. Body not behind the line so the ball escapes for four. SKY jumps inside the line for this sweep, gets it over the infield and gets some spin on the shot as well to fool the fielder in the deep
12
Mohammad Nawaz to Suryakumar Yadav, leg byes, 1 run, huge appeal for LBW as Surya misses the sweep. Dharmasena says not out and Pakistan go for the review. Surya was beaten by the slowness of the delivery. Through the shot early, it pitches behind his legs, hits the back leg and up goes Nawaz. Has that straightened enough or is it sliding on to miss leg stump. Looks close. Oh ball-tracking says it's only clipping leg stump. Didn't straighten enough and will stay with umpire's call

6
Mohammad Nawaz to Tilak Varma, SIX, a shot that gets Tilak going? Has been subdued so far, didn't get much strike in the partnership with Kishan and now strikes his first six. It's tossed up wide of off, he reaches out, goes inside-out and carves it over extra cover. The timing takes it all the way!
10.1
4
Usman Tariq to Suryakumar Yadav, FOUR, Tariq's first ball disappears to the boundary! An off-break turning in off a good length, Surya waits in the crease before whipping it through the gap at midwicket

Saim Ayub to Ishan Kishan, out Bowled!! Pakistan can breathe a huge sigh of relief! Ayub puts his arms up as the dangerous Ishan Kishan is knocked over. What a knock though. On a challenging surface, he has hammered 77 off just 40 balls to put India ahead at this stage. Has completely defied the conditions. Deserves an applause as he walks off and the crowd obliges. This one is nicely bowled by Ayub. Slows it down at 84kph, lands it on a good length and Kishan has backed away too far to the leg-side. The ball grips, turns away and he's unable to reach out with his weight leaning back. It clips the top of middle and leg, dislodging the bail from its groove. Ishan Kishan b Saim Ayub 77(40) [4s-10 6s-3]
8.3
4
Saim Ayub to Ishan Kishan, FOUR, the issue on his right leg hasn't stopped him from going for the reverse-hit again. Doesn't go down on the knees this time, stands tall and swats it over backward point
7.3
4
Shadab Khan to Ishan Kishan, FOUR, awful bowling. Down the leg-side, turning in further, a virtual free-hit for Kishan and he sweeps it hard behind square
7.2
6
Shadab Khan to Ishan Kishan, SIX, this time he's not spared. A belligerent slog-sweep into the crowd from Ishan Kishan! Floated up on middle, right in the slot and he knocks the living daylights out of it
6.3
4
Abrar Ahmed to Ishan Kishan, FOUR, now goes inside out. Length is the problem again here. Too full from Abrar, Kishan manages to get under it and smears it over extra cover
6.2
F
Abrar Ahmed to Ishan Kishan, FOUR, fifty off just 27 balls! The entire dugout stands up to applaud a superb knock as Kishan's dream run continues since coming back into the team. Floated up full, in the slot and he pumps it straight back over Abrar's head
6.1
4
Abrar Ahmed to Ishan Kishan, FOUR, what lovely batting. Great use of the hands to guide it past short third. Length ball turning in from round the wicket, it's just outside off and allows Kishan enough room to maneuver it with his wrists. Opens the face and runs it fine!
6
4
Saim Ayub to Tilak Varma, FOUR, runs away off the edge past the keeper! Lovely from Ayub, slowing it up and getting it to dip on a good length. Tilak is on the forward stretch but still can't cover the pitch of the ball. The edge is found as it turns sharply, but there's no slip in place
5.4
4
Saim Ayub to Ishan Kishan, FOUR, almost gets out the same way Abhishek did. Goes back to pull, gets it high on the bat and miscues it in the air. But he gets just enough to clear the mid-on fielder
4.4
4
Abrar Ahmed to Ishan Kishan, FOUR, this time he has enough time on the back foot to read it off the pitch. Googly outside off, it's short and wide and Kishan slaps it through the covers
4.1
6
Abrar Ahmed to Ishan Kishan, SIX, Kishan greets Abrar the same way he greeted Shaheen, smashing the first ball for six. It's down the leg-side, poor delivery and he sweeps it hard over backward square. Sails over the ropes!
3.3
4
Saim Ayub to Ishan Kishan, FOUR, this one sits up nicely for him. Short on middle and leg, Kishan rocks back and pulls over square leg. He's off to a brisk start again!
2.1
4
Salman Agha to Ishan Kishan, FOUR, Salman misses his length and is punished. Nothing was in the slot in his previous over, but this one is. Kishan spots it early, clears the front leg and smokes it over mid-on
2
4
Shaheen Afridi to Tilak Varma, FOUR, edged and four! Cracking outswinger from Shaheen! Fuller than a good length outside off, shapes away, draws Tilak into a tentative poke and his feet have gone nowhere. Healthy edge goes past the fielder at wide slip
1.2
4
Shaheen Afridi to Ishan Kishan, FOUR, nearly dragged on! Again he goes for the pull but the ball isn't as short this time. It's back of a length, Kishan gets a thick under-edge and it runs away past the stumps
1.1
6
Shaheen Afridi to Ishan Kishan, SIX, he couldn't have struck that any better! Right off the screws from Ishan Kishan as he pulls Shaheen's first ball into the crowd. It's dug in on a short of length, Kishan gets into good position, transfers his weight back and nails it over square leg

Salman Agha to Abhishek Sharma, out Caught by Shaheen Afridi!! Salman opening the bowling has turned out to be a masterstroke. Duck in the opening game, and another duck today for Abhishek. Yet to open his account in this tournament. It's flat and sliding in at the stumps, probably not short enough to pull, he goes for it anyway and miscues it to mid-on. Right off the splice and no power behind it at all. What a start for Pakistan. Salman immediately points in the direction of one of his teammates, someone who suggested the move to him perhaps? He said in the presser yesterday that he wants Abhishek to play, and now he's got rid of him. Abhishek Sharma c Shaheen Afridi b Salman Agha 0(4)
