Smit to Arshdeep Singh, out Arshdeep Singh Run Out!! 1 run completed. They go for the second run as it's the last ball, but Arshdeep is short of his ground. Another yorker from Smit who has been immense in the death overs, it's squeezed away behind square and the fielder is quick enough while Arshdeep isn't. Arshdeep Singh run out (Malan Kruger/Zane Green) 2(2)
19.3
W
Smit to Rinku Singh, out Caught by Gerhard Erasmus!! Smit has deserved this. Has been exceptional at the death after being hammered in the powerplay by Kishan. Superb comeback from him. Very full on leg stump, Rinku tries lofting down the ground but miscues it to long-on. Rinku Singh c Gerhard Erasmus b Smit 1(6)
19
W
Gerhard Erasmus to Axar Patel, out Bowled!! Look at the figures Erasmus has finished with. Unreal. Goes round-arm with the final delivery, it drifts in from the wide angle from round the wicket, keeps low and slides under the bat as Axar slogs across the line. Erasmus has 4/20, incredible from the Namibia captain. Axar Patel b Gerhard Erasmus 0(1)
18.3
W
Gerhard Erasmus to Rinku Singh, out Shivam Dube Run Out!! Oh Dube is nowhere in the frame. Wanted the single to get on strike but Rinku turned it down. By then, Dube had committed and was more than halfway down. Pushed through flat, Rinku makes room and cuts straight to extra cover. There was a misfield so the single was definitely on. Not great from Rinku. Shivam Dube run out (Ben Shikongo/Gerhard Erasmus) 23(16) [4s-1 6s-1]

W
Gerhard Erasmus to Hardik Pandya, out Caught by (sub)Dylan Leicher!! Excellent catch from the sub fielder. A 25-yarder from Erasmus, offers a full toss on the pads but Hardik doesn't get hold of it. The slog goes flat to the right of deep backward square where Leicher runs across, grabs it with both hands and tosses it up as he treads over the boundary. Has no trouble holding onto the rebound. Umpire will check upstairs but that's absolutely fine. Hardik Pandya c (sub)Dylan Leicher b Gerhard Erasmus 52(28) [4s-4 6s-4]
18.1
F
Gerhard Erasmus to Hardik Pandya, SIX, in the slot, at the stumps, and Hardik says thank you very much as he smokes it over midwicket. Fifty for him! Just a raise of the bat in celebration and on we go
17.4
4
Smit to Shivam Dube, FOUR, oh that's cruel for the bowler. Nails the yorker but Dube makes room and squeezes it past short third
16
4
Ben Shikongo to Hardik Pandya, FOUR, Hardik almost trying to console the bowler after hitting this yorker to the boundary. It's outside off, he opens the face and slices it through point. Shikongo is watching in disbelief and Hardik pats him while running across
15.5
4
Ben Shikongo to Hardik Pandya, FOUR, deep in the crease again, the ball is very full and Hardik hammers it straight back over the bowler's head. Not much elevation but it travels to the boundary like a rocket
15.4
6
Ben Shikongo to Hardik Pandya, SIX, he wasn't able to get under the length off the first two balls, but Shikongo misses the yorker by a long way this time. It's right in the slot, Hardik is standing deep in the crease, leans back further and smokes it down the ground
14.5
4
Bernard Scholtz to Hardik Pandya, FOUR, again a similar delivery and Hardik gets it away this time. Reaches out and squeezes it through the covers. Deep extra cover can't do anything about it, went too far to his left
14.3
6
Bernard Scholtz to Hardik Pandya, SIX, did I say relief for Scholtz now that Dube is off strike? Well scratch that. Hardik is here to play as well. FIred in on a good length outside off, he reaches out and slaps it over long-off. The tracker says 109 meters, but I have my doubts about that
14.1
6
Bernard Scholtz to Shivam Dube, SIX, into the top tier from Dube! 107 meter six! Darted in at the stumps, pretty quick from Scholtz and Dube is ready for it. Sizes it up and whacks the pull over midwicket
14
4
Ruben Trumpelmann to Hardik Pandya, FOUR, half-volley is dispatched! Not a great ball, right in the zone and Hardik creams it through extra cover. Held his shape nicely to crunch it through the gap
12.4
6
Bernard Scholtz to Hardik Pandya, SIX, Hardik breaks the shackles. The squeeze was on and he decides to play the big shot. Drifts in and ends up right in his arc, he just flows through the loft and strikes it all the way over long-on
11.5
W
Gerhard Erasmus to Tilak Varma, out Caught by Smit!! Second wicket for Erasmus. He's accounted for both the left-handers. Another smart piece of bowling. He's bowled this from just in front of the umpire - 24 or 25 yards. He gave it a bit of flight and Tilak raced down the pitch, didn't get close to the ball and hence no elevation behind the loft, Smit runs to his left at long-off and takes an excellent catch. He was on the move as he completed the catch. Tilak Varma c Smit b Gerhard Erasmus 25(21) [4s-3]
10.1
W
Bernard Scholtz to Suryakumar Yadav, out Stumped!! Brilliant from Scholtz and Green. They have combined to dismiss the Indian skipper. Namibia fighting back here after India's onslaught. Erasmus started it all and the rest are following. Suryakumar comes down the track and Scholtz smartly drags the length back, gets the ball to straighten and Suryakumar is beaten as he attempts the loft down the ground, Green collects it cleanly and is quick to whip the bails before Suryakumar plonks his bat back in. Suryakumar Yadav st Zane Green b Bernard Scholtz 12(13) [6s-1]
9.4
6
Gerhard Erasmus to Suryakumar Yadav, SIX, shot! Classic Suryakumar. 108.1ks quicker and drifting across, Suryakumar kneels down and plays the lap sweep, uses the pace and places it behind square, just clears the rope
7.1
W
Gerhard Erasmus to Ishan Kishan, out Caught by Ben Shikongo!! Erasmus strikes first ball! Bit of respite for Namibia as Ishan's swashbuckling knock comes to an end. They needed that to just keep the spirits up. This was flatter and slidding in, not quite short but it does not matter for Ishan, he rocks back and still goes for the pull, mistimes to deep mid-wicket and Shikongo takes it low to the ground. Ishan Kishan c Ben Shikongo b Gerhard Erasmus 61(24) [4s-6 6s-5]
6.5
4
Max Heingo to Ishan Kishan, FOUR, smart batting. Since Heingo is bowling from round the wicket, square leg has been brought in, what does Ishan do? He shuffles a bit and pulls the short of length delivery over that fielder
6.4
6
Max Heingo to Ishan Kishan, SIX, short of length delivery, Ishan is so quick to pick the length, rocks back and pulls it high into the night sky. That went a long way up but there was ample distance to end up in the crowd
6.3
Max Heingo to Tilak Varma, 1 run, dropped! Struck hard and Steenkamp does not hold on. Short and wide outside off, Tilak cuts hard and does not bother to keep it down, straight to backward point and Steenkamp makes a mess. It went at a nice height, yes, it was travelling but you are expected to take these at this level. Will Namibia rue this dropped chance?
6.1
4
Max Heingo to Tilak Varma, FOUR, unlucky! Good length ball outside off, angles in late and Tilak looks to drive with his feet rooted to the crease, gets a thick inside edge and the ball runs away past the stumps
6
F
Smit to Ishan Kishan, FOUR, fifty for Ishan. He started slowly but has picked up pace. Really layed into Smit in this over. 6, 6, 6, 6, 4! Short and banged into the surface, the angle was taking it down leg, Ishan swivels around and pulls it behind square on the leg-side, he then raises his bat and acknowledges the applause. He missed out in the first game but has come to the party today. That will be drinks..
5.5
6
Smit to Ishan Kishan, SIX, just over. 6, 6, 6, 6! Ishan ensuring India finish the powerplay strongly. Short of length delivery and at Smit's pace, the ball sits up nicely for Ishan, he transfers his weight back quickly and pulls to deep square leg. Frylinck thought he was in with a chance but the ball evades him and drops beyond the rope
5.4
6
Smit to Ishan Kishan, SIX, that doesn't stop Ishan from using his feet. He still advances down the pitch, converts it into a full delivery and lofts it to long-on. Not quite off the middle but enough to clear the rope. 79 meters
5.3
6
Smit to Ishan Kishan, SIX, hammered! This is dismissive from Ishan. He shimmies down, converts it into a length delivery and launches it down the ground. Once again right off the middle and the ball ends up in the first tier. 92 meters..
5.2
6
Smit to Ishan Kishan, SIX, he was eyeing the leg-side field before this ball and sends one over the rope. Smit angles it in, the ball ends up on leg-stump and Ishan sits down to help it on the way. He gets plenty of bat and the ball sails over long leg
4.5
4
Ruben Trumpelmann to Tilak Varma, FOUR, smashed! Tilak charges down, gives himself room and gets the width to free his hands, pumps it flat and over extra cover, one bounce and over the ropes
4.3
4
Ruben Trumpelmann to Tilak Varma, FOUR, this is poor from Trumpelmann. Errs in line again and this time Tilak is the beneficiary. Sliding down leg, Tilak gets the finest of contacts on the glance and the ball races away to fine leg
4.1
4
Ruben Trumpelmann to Ishan Kishan, FOUR, wrong line from Trumpelmann and Ishan puts it away. Angling into leg, Ishan crouches low and swings hard, places it backward of square and there's no stopping that
3.2
4
Ben Shikongo to Ishan Kishan, FOUR, that's a gift which Ishan accepts happily. Half volley on the pads, Ishan does not have to do much, he uses his bottom hand and whips it over mid-wicket, couple of bounces and over the rope
3
Smit to Ishan Kishan, no run, he knew straightaway. That's the reason he didn't bother to discuss with Tilak. Ishan crouched low and attempted a heave across the line, gets it off the toe-end onto the pad. Umpire Reiffel didn't spot it and was quick to raise his finger, but he's made to change his decision
2.5
4
Smit to Ishan Kishan, FOUR, now a hack across the line. 122.2ks good length ball and sits up nicely outside off, Ishan stays back in the crease and swipes it across the line, nails it right between mid-wicket and mid-on
2.4
4
Smit to Ishan Kishan, FOUR, shot! First boundary for Ishan and he couldn't have asked for a better one. Fullish delivery on off, he presents the full face of the bat and drives it straight back, bit uppish but nowhere close to Smit
2
W
Ben Shikongo to Sanju Samson, out Caught by Louren Steenkamp!! Gone! Shikongo has the last say. Samson started well but fails to capitalise. It is nothing but a cameo from him. But credit to Shikongo - he kept his nerve and slipped in the slower ball. Rolled his fingers across the ball and took pace off, Samson is deceived and through the flick early, chips it tamely to deep mid-wicket and Steenkamp stays low to take the catch. Sanju Samson c Louren Steenkamp b Ben Shikongo 22(8) [4s-1 6s-3]
1.5
4
Ben Shikongo to Sanju Samson, FOUR, 6, 6, 4! Shikongo is being taken apart. He overcorrects his line and length - full and outside off, right in the arc, Samson goes back in the crease and lofts it over extra cover. That pinged off the middle and rocketed to the fence..
1.4
6
Ben Shikongo to Sanju Samson, SIX, he's dealing in sixes. Three in a row. Once again wrong line from Shikongo. 122.6ks short of length around leg, that's a hit-me delivery and Samson does not miss out, he helps it along and sends it a mile into the stands
1.3
6
Ben Shikongo to Sanju Samson, SIX, back to back sixes for Samson. Too straight from Shikongo - back of a length on middle and leg, it was the angle which allowed Samson to play that shot - whips the pull backward of square and sends it sailing into the crowd
1
6
Ruben Trumpelmann to Sanju Samson, SIX, fabulous shot! Wrong length from Trumpelmann and he's made to pay. Fullish delivery, angled across and ends up right in the slot, Samson extends his arms and lofts through the line. Straight down the ground and the ball crashes into the sightscreen. That should calm the nerves
