W
Adil Rashid to Rovman Powell, out Caught by Jamie Overton!! Adil Rashid gets the big fish. A nicely tossed up delivery by the leg-spinner, plenty of flight. Rovman Powell looks to take him, goes for the aerial route and gets plenty of elevation. But the timing wasn't good enough and the fielder at long-off latches onto the skier. That's the second wicket for Rashid. Excellent bowling by him so far. Rovman Powell c Jamie Overton b Adil Rashid 14(13) [4s-2]
13.5
Liam Dawson to Sherfane Rutherford, 1 run, tossed up delivery around off, driven to long-off for a single

4
Jofra Archer to Rovman Powell, FOUR, big over - 17 runs. That's a poor delivery to end the over. Full and strays down leg, Powell does not have to do anything fancy, he glances it fine and Archer's pace takes care of the rest
12.4
6
Jofra Archer to Sherfane Rutherford, SIX, dropped! Tough chance and Rashid can't hold. Full marks for the effort. Back of a length and angled across, Rutherford swings to the leg-side and gets a thick leading edge. The ball flies to third man and Rashid tries to take it with one hand, but the ball pops out and lands on the ad cushions. He wasn't sure where the rope was and kept swirling around, in the end tried to take it with his right hand and the ball did not stick
12.2
4
Jofra Archer to Rovman Powell, FOUR, that's poor from Archer. With mid-off inside the ring - he offers a full delivery outside off, Powell goes up and over with his drive, gets it off the middle and almost sends it the distance, one bounce and over the ropes
11.4
6
Will Jacks to Sherfane Rutherford, SIX, back to back sixes. Jacks was brought on because Rutherford is out in the middle, but it is the -hander who is taking him down. This is dragged short and Rutherford is quick to pounce, rocks back and smokes the pull over deep mid-wicket
11.3
6
Will Jacks to Sherfane Rutherford, SIX, smashed! That's a hit-me delivery from Jacks. He overcooks the flighted delivery and lands it right in the slot, Rutherford does not need a second invitation, he clears his front leg and lofts through the line. Smashes it for a 78-meter six..

W
Adil Rashid to Roston Chase, out Lbw!! West Indies review! But this looked plumb. Chase does not pick the wrong 'un and is stuck in the crease, hit on the back pad. No bat as per UltraEdge. Ball-tracking shows it to be smashing into leg-stump. OUT! Review lost. That was poor from Chase. He has a chat with Rutherford and still decides to challenge the onfield call. 400 T20 wickets for Rashid. Well-disguised googly, Chase tried to pick it after pitching and was late, the ball spins past the inside edge and strikes him on the back pad, the impact is right in front of middle and umpire Allahudien Paleker had an easy decision to make. Roston Chase lbw b Adil Rashid 34(29) [4s-6]
8.4
4
Liam Dawson to Roston Chase, FOUR, smartly done! Chase knows that Dawson is firing 'em in, so he uses the pace and collects the boundary. He sits down inside the line and laps it fine. No need to run for that..
7.5
4
Jamie Overton to Roston Chase, FOUR, not sure that's where he intended the ball to go, but Chase will pick up a much needed boundary. Another off-pace delivery and Chase heaves across the line, gets more of an inside edge and the ball races backward of square leg
5.5
W
Jamie Overton to Shimron Hetmyer, out Caught by Sam Curran!! Overton strikes! Another big wicket for England. Hetmyer was looking in ominous form and was the in-form batter for West Indies but he departs inside the powerplay. This is what Overton brings to the side - the ability to hit the pitch hard and generate extra bounce, he rolled his fingers over the ball and made Hetmyer fetch the pull, the top-edge goes straight up and Curran calls for it near short fine, he keeps his eyes on the ball and makes no mistake. Shimron Hetmyer c Sam Curran b Jamie Overton 23(12) [4s-2 6s-2]
5.1
Jamie Overton to Roston Chase, no run, in the air and short. Good length ball, Chase looks to loft through the line but Overton hits the pitch hard, generates more bounce and foils Chase's shot, the miscue lands in front of Archer at mid-on. Hetmyer was off for a single but he's sent back, Archer has a shy at the non-striker's end and misses, Hetmyer was struggling even with a dive. Direct hit and he was gone..

6
Will Jacks to Shimron Hetmyer, SIX, massive over - 19 runs. Just what the West Indies needed to inject some impetus into the innings. Hetmyer is pretty good against spin and he doesn't take long to go after Jacks. This was angled in and lands right in the arc, Hetmyer kneels down and launches the slog sweep over deep square leg
4.4
4
Will Jacks to Roston Chase, FOUR, just over mid-off. Dipping full toss on off, Chase backs away and has to reach for the lofted drive, he gets enough elevation to clear Brook and pick up another boundary. The match-up is working in Chase's favour..
4.3
4
Will Jacks to Roston Chase, FOUR, nicely done! Almost a similar delivery but Chase opts for the sweep this time, plants his front foot across and nails it over backward square leg. There were two fielders in that region but they barely moved
4.2
4
Will Jacks to Roston Chase, FOUR, shot! Flighted and drifts away, Chase makes room and lofts it inside out over wide mid-off. Not quite off the middle but the ball has enough to trickle into the fence
3.4
4
Sam Curran to Shimron Hetmyer, FOUR, Hetmyer getting a move on. But this was a help-yourself delivery - strays down leg, Hetmyer stays inside the line and glances it to the vacant fine leg region
3.3
6
Sam Curran to Shimron Hetmyer, SIX, hammered! Curran tries to repeat the slower ball but Hetmyer was ready for it. He delays his bat swing, sits down on his back knee and smokes the slog sweep over deep mid-wicket. That came right off the screws..
2.4
4
Jofra Archer to Roston Chase, FOUR, lovely! Archer does not quite get the length right - half volley outside off and Chase does not miss out, he gets a good stride in and creams the drive through extra cover
2.1
4
Jofra Archer to Shimron Hetmyer, FOUR, shot! Hetmyer is off the mark with a boundary. Short and outside off, plenty of room and the ball was at a nice height for Hetmyer to play the upper cut, he clears the infield comfortably and does not bother to run
1.1
W
Sam Curran to Brandon King, out Caught by Phil Salt!! Now Curran strikes with his first ball! Another not a wicket-taking delivery that's produced a wicket. But full marks for the planning. They had a sweeper cover instead of deep backward point and King has found him perfectly. Generally teams have a deep point these days in the powerplay, but Curran had Salt near sweeper. Angles the full delivery across, invites King for the big shot and the lofted drive just carries to Salt. He bends down and takes a good low catch. West Indies in early trouble. Brandon King c Phil Salt b Sam Curran 1(3)
0.5
W
Jofra Archer to Shai Hope, out Caught by Tom Banton!! Archer strikes! Not a wicket-taking delivery but he won't be complaining. Hope is gone for a duck. This is a big wicket as the West Indies captain was one of the in-form batters. Short and ample amount width, Hope cracks the cut straight to cover-point, Banton didn't have to move and laps it safely. The extra bit of bounce at the Wankhede didn't allow Hope to keep the cut down and he could not get it over the infield. Shai Hope c Tom Banton b Jofra Archer 0(3)
