Netravalkar to Motie, out Shepherd Run Out!! Full ball that beats the swinging blade of Motie on the inside edge. They decide to pinch a quick single, but Pooran did well to take his time and send a perfect underarm throw to catch Shepherd well short of his crease. Shepherd run out (Pooran) 13(9) [6s-1]

Netravalkar to Iftikhar Ahmed, out Caught by Pollard!! Juicy full toss, but the line is well wide of off stump. Iftikhar swings through the line and gets it off the toe end of the bat. Pollard at long-off runs to his right and completes the catch with ease. Iftikhar Ahmed c Pollard b Netravalkar 30(27) [4s-3 6s-1]

Netravalkar to Pretorius, out Caught by Pollard!! Pretorius was standing well outside his crease. Netravalkar bowls it on a length but the line is well wide of off stump. Pretorius looks to thump down the ground, but doesn't get the desired contact. Skews it off the toe end and picks out the big man at long-off. Pretorius c Pollard b Netravalkar 25(18) [4s-1 6s-2]

Akeal Hosein to Hetmyer, out Caught by Pollard!! Another one bites the dust! That was there to be hit but Hetmyer has holed out! He was looking out of sorts tonight - perhaps the pressure of the big game has got the better of him. On the shorter side outside off, away from the reach of Hetmyer. He reaches out and goes for a flat-batted stroke but only manages to toe-end it towards long-on. Pollard is safe as houses. He takes the catch and then looks towards the crowd. It would have been better had Hetmyer tried to hit through the line rather then trying to hit against it. Hetmyer c Pollard b Akeal Hosein 4(13)

Akeal Hosein to Iftikhar Ahmed, FOUR, a boundary after 25 balls! Full ball drifting down leg, Iftikhar Ahmed flicks it past the keeper and it races to the fine leg fence

Usman Tariq to Moeen Ali, out Bowled!! Castled! 91.2kph back of a length ball around off from round the wicket, skids after landing and keeps coming in with the arm, Moeen Ali stays rooted in the crease and perhaps plays for the turn and gets beaten to have his off-stump pegged back. The hosts are in all sorts of trouble. Moeen Ali b Usman Tariq 10(14) [4s-1]

Akeal Hosein to Shai Hope, out Bowled!! Knocked him over! Akeal Hosein gets rid of Shai Hope with a ripper! Shai Hope was brilliant throughout this season with the bat but has failed to make an impact in the final. He was struggling for rhythm and finally perishes. Honestly, he couldn't have done much about this beauty. It's drifting in initially and it lands on a back of a length on middle and leg, Shai Hope tries to stay leg-side of it but the ball turns away venomously to open him up in his stance. A half-hearted push from Shai Hope but he gets beaten all ends up as the ball goes on to crash into the off-stump. That's an off-spinner's dream dismissal and Akeal Hosein is pumped up. Shai Hope b Akeal Hosein 12(19)

Pollard to Moeen Ali, FOUR, well played! Back of a length ball slanting across Moeen Ali. He camps back and punches it expertly past the left side of backward point to find the fence. Great timing there
6.2
Pollard to Shai Hope, 1 run, a direct-hit would have been very tight! Pitched up outside off, Shai Hope drives it to extra cover and the batters set off. The fielder has a shy at the striker's end but misses. Oh, the replay shows that had he hit, Moeen Ali was a goner. He was ambling across and didn't go full throttle

Netravalkar to McDermott, out Caught by Munro!! The change of angle has done the trick for Netravalkar! He is cock-a-hoop! McDermott sizzled in his short stay but has holed out eventually. Length delivery shaping in from outside off from round the wicket, McDermott sizes it up and goes for the swipe but he ends up dragging it towards deep square leg. It's dying on Munro but he gets low and takes a well-judged catch in front of him. McDermott c Munro b Netravalkar 28(17) [4s-3 6s-2]

4
Akeal Hosein to McDermott, FOUR, nicely done! On a length on middle and leg, McDermott kneels down on one knee and uses his long reach to nail the big sweep over backward square leg to find the fence. Perhaps playing the conventional and unconventional sweeps are needed to put the bowlers off their rhythm on this kind of surface where the ball is gripping
2.5
4
Russell to McDermott, FOUR, first boundary of the innings! Shortish delivery around off, sits up nicely for McDermott. He doesn't get hold of the pull as nicely as he would have liked but has enough on it to clear the leaping mid-wicket fielder

Russell to Quentin Sampson, out Caught by Pollard!! The short ball ploy against the youngster has worked! Russell is charged up and has a beaming smile on his face! Ottis Gibson, TKR's assistant coach, is also elated in the dugout! It's a sharp short delivery that's well-directed and it's seaming in towards Sampson. He is cramped for space and gets in an awkward position. He hops and fends at it but only manages to lob it towards forward short leg. Pollard gets low in front and takes it inches above the ground. Quentin Sampson c Pollard b Russell 0(2)
