IPL 2015: KXIP vs DD, Match 10

After conceding runs in his opening spell, Imran Tahir returned to pick up three wickets as KXIP managed 165 for seven in their 20 over.

After opting to bat first, Kings XI Punjab lost opener Murali Vijay (19) early to Angelo Mathews in the 10th match of the Indian Premier League 2015 against Delhi Daredevils.

Virender Sehwag played a smart knock off 47 off 41 ball on a low MCA track and along with Wriddhiman Saha combined for a 66-run stand for the second wicket.

Saha, coming in to bat at No.3, had his role assigned and provided the much-need impetus to the KXIP innings with a 28-ball 39 runs with the help of three sixes.

Delhi Daredevils, however, pulled things back with Amit Mishra removing Saha and JP Duminy got rid of Sehwag and David Miller (5).

Delhi Daredevils lost skipper JP Duminy for 21 in a bizzare fashion when he was run out at the non-striker's end.

In defence of 165, Sandeep Sharma provided KXIP with the early breakthrough when he had Shreys Iyer caught at third man for 6.

Mayank Agarwal and Yuvraj Singh then combined for a match-winning partnership of 106 runs for the third wicket. Agarwal top-scored with 68 and walked away with the Man-of-the-Match award.

Yuvraj played his part with the bat scoring 55 off 39 balls as Delhi Daredevils completed the chase with five wickets in hand and one ball to spare, thus ending their 11-match losing streak.
