Profile

Simon Mackin (born 1 September 1992) is a lanky fast bowler from Western Australia. A 202cm tall right-arm quick from, Simon Mackin burst onto the scene playing for a Chairman’s XI against the touring England side in Alice Springs in 2013, when he had Ian Bell, Matt Prior and Joe Root caught behind.

Mackin was named the 2012-13 WA Cricket Media Guild Player of the Future and earned his first contract with WA the following summer, playing just one first-class match for the Warriors in his debut season.
