 Profile
Vaibhav Rawal had a dream start to his first-class career having scored a significant century on debut. Against Tamil Nadu in that Ranji Trophy fixture, Rawal played an unbeaten knock of 100 at Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi. There were four centurions in that match for Delhi and as a result of their superlative batting effort, Delhi managed to post a massive score of 555/4 versus Tamil Nadu. Rawal displayed his wide array of shots only his debut innings with as many as 12 graceful boundaries.

However, after a superb start to his first class career, Rawal wasn't able to keep up the consistency, he would have wished for. In the next 5 years, Rawal only played a handful of matches and his batting average that was in the early 30s wasn't enough to guarantee him a spot in Delhi's playing XI. Rawal played his last first class match against Jharkhand in 2016 and following that season, he was lost into oblivion - just like numerous other domestic cricketers in the country.
