Born on October 19, 1985, Afaq Raheem is a right-handed batsman who continues to remain a steady player at the Pakistani domestic circles. A consistent performer, Raheem topped the domestic charts for Rawalpindi by scoring more than 500 runs in four consecutive seasons.

His career has seen disruptions due to injuries. One of the few players to emerge from Azad Kashmir, Raheem enjoyed a prolific run during the 2011-12 season, topping the run-charts with 1088 runs at 54.40. This performance earned him a place in the Pakistan squad for the tour of Sri Lanka in 2012.
