SUMMARY

A right-arm fast bowler, hailing from Barbados, Prof Edwards was given his Test debut against Australia at Melbourne in 1968-69. He struggled for rhythm in Australia after which he redeemed himself with 15 wickets on the tour to New Zealand. With West Indies looking to blood youngsters, Edwards was banished to the domestic scene. He captured 78 wickets in 35 first-class matches. Post retirement from all forms of competitive cricket, Edwards moulded himself to become a groundsman at Kensington Oval in Barbados.
