SUMMARY

Born in England, Harford played for Mitcham in Surrey. A wicket-keeper who was of no use with the bat as he came at No. 11. Harford migrated to New Zealand and played for Auckland. He played all four representative matches for New Zealand against the Aussies in 1967-68. Harford also traveled to Australia with the non-Test team as the only keeper in 1968-69.

He played the home series against India. In the three games, he scored only 7 runs, but in the last match effected seven dismissals. His unproductive left-hand batting cost him a place in the side and he was replaced by John Ward. Those were his last first class games as well.
