He started off playing the famous tape ball cricket in the streets of Pakistan before playing domestic cricket in every format in the year 2015. He found success in shorter formats. And hence the selectors preferred him for the shorter formats. He debuted in late 2023 in T20Is. And later in 2024 made his ODI debut for Pakistan. This exposure at the big level came because he did pretty well for Karachi Kings in the 2023 edition despite being given limited chances.
