Shaheen Shah Afridi | Pakistan captain: "No, I think last game, that's not in our way, early wicket [wickets]. We had a good partnership in first game and then back-to-back wickets, same tonight as well. But yeah, a simple message, go and play your own game. (on the pitch) I think this pitch is totally different, whenever we come here, there was more spin, we feel it will be like helpful for fast bowlers and that's why we bring four fast bowlers and I think they bowled really well. Really happy. (on areas of improvement) No, I think that back-to-back wickets we lost, we have to like, you know, add up a good partnership. Maaz Sadaqat | Player of the Match (translated from Urdu): Yes, absolutely. After the last meeting we spoke about playing our natural game and we followed that. (what did you do differently today?) In the last match it was like it was my first match so there was a little bit of pressure as well, and today I brought a little change which I followed by playing my natural game. I am basically a batting all-rounder, and for some time now I have been working in bowling with Ash (Ashley Noffke) bhai who is our coach, so from that I am getting a lot of help.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz | Bangladesh captain: "I think, yes, we [have to] take the advantage first 10 overs. You know, the last match was excellent. The bowler [bowlers] bowled really well. We just took the advantage, but we didn't execute well because, you know, first 10 overs we giving [gave] many runs and obviously goes to credit them. They played really, really well first 10 overs. (what was the chat from the top-order?) Yes, I think, obviously, it's a very good wicket to bat on, like, you know, so we have a little mistake. So the top-order batsmen didn't get runs. Shaheen Shah set the tone up top with wickets of Tanzid and Shanto and Wasim Jr chipped in with Saif Hassan's wicket. Then with Bangladesh struggling, thunder and lightning along with rain came to stop play for around 133 minutes. When the revised conditions came into effect, it was the turn of Sadaqat with his SLA to chip in with three wickets as he capped off a fine all-round performance. Rauf who came in for this game in place of Abrar finished with a three-fer. Litton and Hridoy played some nice shots but once the former fell, the others didn't hang around long. Pakistan with a clinical bowling performance and credit to the groundstaff too for getting the ground ready in time for a game to happen.
