PLAYER OF THE SERIES
That's it from this game. Hope you enjoyed our coverage of the final. Until next time, goodbye and stay safe..
Ishan Kishan collects the trophy and does a little jig before joining his team mates. The confetti goes off and the celebrations begin. Lots of shouting and cheering as each player take turns to lift the trophy. Saurabh Tiwary, a Jharkhand legend and now the Secretary of the Jharkhand State Cricket Association, joins the squad as they pose for the cameras. Shahbaz Nadeem too joins the celebrations. Great scenes out there..
Ishan Kishan | Player of the Match: Nothing, just a lot of love from all my team mates (on what he had for lunch). Looking at the tournament, we were going for the big shots even if we lose wickets, unfortunately we lost Virat Singh early, but we were looking to score runs. It is difficult to chase in a final. KK made it easier for me, he was scoring freely and confidently from the other end. That's the plus point (about other batters performing and making it easier for him), we had a chat at the beginning, we gave the batters freedom to play their shots and bat positively. It was a very good pitch to bat on especially in the first innings and it helped us put such a big total on the board. Lot of support from the supporting staff, if any batter was not doing well then they were there cheering him on, it was a pretty good tournament for us. All of them had their nerves on the rope, Vikash getting early wickets, Anukul picking 18 wickets and Sushant being the highest wicket-taker, but most importantly they were listening to me.
Anukul Roy | Player of the Series: It has been a very good journey. Everyone has worked hard - players and the support staff. I concentrated on my batting. I was bowling well but this year I wanted to contribute with the bat as well. The planning is the same - just depends on the venue and size of the boundary. Varying the pace is important in T20 otherwise you can concede boundaries. Yes, I would like to carry this form into the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
Ankit Kumar: Our bowling was off color. The way Ishan Kishan and KK batted, they didn't give us a chance to come back. Even the way Anukul and Minz finished the innings. Whenever this kind of situation has come up, our bowlers have delivered but today was one off. They have even defended low totals. It is a young team and we have played very good cricket through the tournament.
20:18 Local Time, 14:48 GMT: Jharkhand had one hand on the trophy when their batters piled up a commanding 262. All they needed thereafter was for the bowlers to hold their nerve and stick to their plans, something they managed to do for most parts of the chase. Haryana were immediately put on the back foot, losing two wickets in the first over when they needed a flying start. A brief glimmer of hope emerged with Yashvardhan Dalal and Nishanth Sindhu at the crease. The pair launched a fierce counterattack, swinging the momentum, Dalal raced to a 19-ball fifty, while Sindhu was beginning to look ominous. That resistance was cut short decisively by Anukul Roy, who removed both batters in the space of three balls, all but sealing the contest. Samant Jakhar showed some fight lower down the order, but he was left with far too much to do. Earlier in the day, it was Ishan Kishan’s superb hundred and his record 177-run partnership with Kumar Kushagra that laid the foundation for Jharkhand’s massive total. Presentations coming up..

Bal Krishna to Ishant Bhardwaj, out Caught by Vikash Singh!! Jharkhand are the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Champions. This is just their second domestic title, following the Vijay Hazare Trophy triumph in 2010-11. The scenes say it all. The emotion etched across the faces of the players and support staff reflects what this moment truly means. They have been the standout side of the tournament, losing just one game on their way to lifting the trophy. A deserved reward for consistency, character and composure under pressure. Ishan Kishan and some of the other players grab stumps as a souvenir. Coming to the wicket: It was a slower back of a length delivery, Bhardwaj tries to flat-bat it down the ground and slices it towards backward point, Vikash takes a few steps back and hangs on. The fireworks go off around the ground. Ishant Bhardwaj c Vikash Singh b Bal Krishna 17(8) [6s-2]

Bal Krishna to Ishant Bhardwaj, SIX, oh no! Why was he in from the rope? Low full toss and Bhardwaj slams it to long-on. It would have been a regulation catch had the fielder been right on the rope, but he was well in and watches the ball sail over him
