That's it for this one. Bye for now. We will be back with more soon.
Matt Kuhnemann | Player of the Match: It was incredible. I was sort of just making jokes with Jack at third man, but that was incredible. He was so calm. He's been great around the group the last couple of games, so I'm really pleased for him and everyone with us. It's another great game of Big Bash. (on the chat in the last over) They probably were in the box seat. Yeah, what was it? Was it 7 off 6? So that's an amazing over. And I'm sort of lost for words. Even Xavier's over the over before was incredible taking a few wickets. Such a good game of cricket. Yeah, no, it is great, especially when you're bowling with Xavier and we welcome back Neser to this game. So, um, when you get a chance to bowl with them boys, it's um, makes my job a lot easier. (this result keeps the final hopes alive) I mean, everyone knows where you sort of stand on the ladder. Two from two, we had to win. So we had a massive game Sunday night at the Gabba. We would've liked a few more wins throughout the season, but to keep ourselves alive in the last round, the boys are pumped.
It was a game that the Heat had no business to win but they kept themselves in it till the end and some poor cricket from the Hurricanes helped. The Heat with this miraculous win still have a chance to finish in the finals race. If they win their last game against the Sixers, they will ensure at least a fourth place finish. Today's result means Renegades are officially eliminated. Stay tuned to find out who the player of the match is....
22:37 Local Time, 11:37 GMT, 17:07 IST: How have the Heat won this! They needed to win to be in the hunt for the top-four and the Hurricanes have blown their chance of confirming their place in the top-two. They were going so well at 124/2 and had the chase all but sewn up. But Marnus came back and got Webster and then Kuhnemann got the other set batter - McDermott. Wade came out and struck a six to further ease the nerves and fell next ball. Two wickets in the 19th over gave the Heat hope and with just 6 needed off the final over, Khawaja threw the ball to Zaman Khan instead of Neser and the international delivered. His low slingy action did the job as he fired the yorkers and kept it tight. How crucial was that six saved on the fence by Renshaw. That was a massive moment as well as Ellis going for two off the last ball of the 19th over which meant he was on strike for the last one and not Nikhil Chaudhary.

Zaman Khan to Rishad Hossain, 1 run, the Heat have snatched victory from nowhere. Everyone come to Zaman Khan to crowd around him. He does the Sajda! What an escape this is. The field is set for the wide line yorker, full and wide outside off, Rishad Hossain reaches for it to drive and picks out sweeper cover, just one. And the throw comes to Jimmy Peirson, the celebrations begin after that
4 for the Super Over. 6 for a win. Rishad the new batter. Khawaja has a chat with Zaman Khan. Third man inside.

Zaman Khan to Nikhil Chaudhary, out Caught by Neser!! Zaman Khan is down on the ground but he has taken the wicket. A full delivery outside off, in the slot, Nikhil Chaudhary gets forward to loft, loses his bottom-hand, picks out wide long-on and Neser has great hands. The bottom-hand coming off, meant there was no power. Nikhil Chaudhary c Neser b Zaman Khan 16(17) [4s-1]
Zaman Khan to Nikhil Chaudhary, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
Another chat between Khawaja and Zaman Khan. Tense faces all around. 5 off 2.

Zaman Khan to Nikhil Chaudhary, no run, not a wide. Nikhil Chaudhary shuffles across and gets low, had he been in his normal batting stance, that was hitting the pad. It's a yorker length delivery and swings in late, just outside the leg-stump, Jimmy Peirson fumbles but recovers, there's no wide and that's the right call
Another chat between Khawaja and Zaman Khan. 5 off 3. Zaman making some field adjustments.
