Sikandar Raza: Credit where due, they batted really well. Slightly poor from us in field and with the ball as well. The last 5-8 overs didn't go according to our plans. Apart from that, we kept them quiet for majority of the game and that's certainly a positive. I thought 270 would be par, they scored slightly above-par. The stats say that spin is not as effective, seam is more effective because of the conditions. My job is hold the game and make sure that the run rate doesn't slip out of our hands. If you want to be successful here, you got to know when to hold up an end and when to try to go for wickets as a spinner.

13:14 Local Time, 11:14 GMT, 16:44 IST: Sri Lanka will be happy with this total. Inserted to bat, they lost Nishan Madushka for a duck. Ngarava and Muzarabani were brilliant with the new ball to keep a tight lid on the scoring rate. Nissanka and Kusal Mendis forged a century partnership to set the foundation. Sri Lanka once again slipped a bit in the middle overs as they were reduced to 161/5 in the 37th over, thanks to some tight bowling from the spinners (Raza and Williams). But the hosts let the visitors off the hook towards the death. An outstanding 137-run partnership Janith Liyanage and Kamindu Mendis off just 83 deliveries has taken SL to an above-par total. Both the batters notched up their fifties in quick time. 100 runs were scored off the last eight overs and it was a combination of good ball-striking, ordinary bowling and poor fielding. Join us in a bit to find out how Zimbabwe fare with the bat.
